Review Pane Cafe - Fresno

It was my first time visiting this place with about 15 family members and it’s was pretty great. There’s tons of space inside and outside on the covered patio. They have outdoor heaters that made it very comfortable. The buffet was great and they also had bottomless mimosas. I’d recommend making a reservation beforehand if you have a large party. But overall we had a great experience for our large group and it was very enjoyable.

We were a group of six and unknowingly arrived 10 minutes before their kitchen closes. They were still friendly and served us without any complaints. I totally love the salmon salad and will go back for it over and over. Good atmosphere, I can recommend it.

I don't know what happened the day we went, but our experience was not that great. Sunday champagne brunch, the place was packed. It took forever to get our water, and one of the glasses had lipstick on it. Our coffee cup had some type of residue on it. The bottomless champagne we had to continuously ask for and WAIT forever for. Some of the pancakes weren't fully cooked. We have never had such a bad experience. We are sad their other restaurant closed.

Good sized and homemade dressings, was just hoping for more flavor on the salmon, pretty bland.

I had some good penne pasta with chicken in a creamy pesto sauce. It was very much to my liking. Server & host were very courteous~ very cute and romantic setting. Maybe because of the times we're in, the place was pretty empty when I visited. Everyone tried the Gelato. I enjoyed it too. My photo is not that great, since the lighting was dim. But it was delicious.

Was really disappointed. I was expecting more from the restaurant. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice. The food was bland and cold. My daughter order the prawn with angel hair pasta she said it was watery and very bland. I had the shortrib viagonese it was cold. I could taste the cold fat in between the meat when the meat wasn't reheated enough before serving. The ju was too runny not thick enough. The pizza was worst I think little casers had better pizza. Over all really disappointed with the place thought it would be better, maybe they were having a bad day.

Sunday June 20th 2021: Their Herndon and Palm location is still closed. But this location on Cedar and Nees is open and have even brought back their Sunday Brunch buffet ($25+tax) and Sunday bottomless mimosas/bloody mary ($14+tax). I can only attest to the Sunday brunch, but it's really good. Their items don't run out, my drink never got empty, the quality is good. It's a tad on the pricy side, but worth it. Their outdoor seating was nice because they have shade and misters to help keep cool.

The hostess wasn't particularly kind. We were seated at a dirty table with trash still present. No one acknowledged our presence for at least 15 minutes. There was a private event on the patio, but the restaurant was otherwise not busy. I'm an understanding human when it comes to restaurants and staffing issues, but it really felt unreasonable. We decided to leave.
