Review Country Waffles - Fresno

This is the only country waffles in town that I won't go to. The menu is totally different from the other locations and it seemed that they were out of a lot of food. Tried to order orange juice but was told they were all out yet the people sitting across from us were drinking it. They had no soup. No soup of the day, just no soup. Ordered the florentine eggs benedict, topped with spinach and bacon, was served cold and with lettuce. I guess they were out of spinach leaves too. The fruit looked really dark, definitely not fresh. Eggs were over cooked with a hard center as well. I didn't get a customer receipt either. Just over all experience was bad all around. Do yourself a favor, eat somewhere else.

I should have known since the first time I came,( waited 40 minutes with no service) so I thought I'll give them a second chance -_- bug mistake! Word was horrible I got a tummy ache, bathroom doors were broken and filthy! Only got half my order, no pancakes fruit cup nor toast was given to me! so we advised the manager and he still had us pay the whole bill!? Never coming back here again!

I usually am not about writing bad reviews but today is by far the worst experience I have had.To start with our sodas had plastic floating in cup we asked for new ones but continued to regard it we ordered our food and turned out the food was nasty and one of our guests got piece of plastic in her corn beef hash!Trust me steer away from here McDonald's breakfast sounds good to me!!

Used to be a great place to eat. Since new ownership, service has gone 180 degrees. No silverware on tables. Literally had to look for a refill for coffee. This last time we went, they had only two servers handling all guests. Way too understaffed. Saddened because we have been coming here for years. I could go on but I will leave it at this. Guess they prefer to sell their bear carvings rather than good meals...

Waitress was sweet. After we ordered she came out 3 times to tell us the cook said they are out of just about everything we'd ordered...it was an omelette and pancakes. It was mid morning and nobody in there...sorry to say we left...went somewhere where they actually had food.

First time here and it was awesome! Ordered the strawberry waffles since they actually served the waffles with fresh strawberries, unlike the majority of restaurants that serve them with heavily sweetened strawberry sauce. The ambiance was a very quaint country. When I eat out, I order the restaurant's specialty, and this place served exceptional-tasting waffles with a hint of vanilla, made from scratch.

Older decor place with good food. Waitress Debbie was very friendly and attentive. She knows her regulars and knows their order before they make it. Food was good, basic homestyle breakfast at reasonable price. Quick from the kitchen and followed special instructions. Menu wasn't overly cluttered, gave you good choices but isn't overwhelming like some places.

Me and my husband visited this place hoping to enjoy a good breakfast, only to walk in and be completely ignored by what seemed to be a ghost restaurant with apparently 2 employees who had zero customer service skills. The young bleach blond male waiter never even acknowledged us, no menus or drinks were ever offered and he had the look on his face that resonated total disregard towards doing his job well. After 20 minutes of giving them the benefit of the doubt and wanting to be noticed but instead kept being ignored we got up and left. I will not be visiting this absolute joke of a restaurant again. I have zero patience or tolerance for any business that takes its customers for granted. They were rude in the fact that we were ignored and never waited on and there is absolutely no excuse. What makes it more pathetic is the fact that the place had less than ten people in it. Either learn to conduct yourself properly or why even bother being open to begin with? Hopefully it closes down or obtains new management or ownership. It definitely needs an overhaul.
