Jiangnan Delight

We came here one month ago, a group of 8 people. Around 12pm and got seated right away. It was not busy at all even though it’s lunch time. Order fresh fish soup and it was pretty good. Today we ordered Togo for a friend’s birthday. Order honey walnut shrimp, beer duck, fish with vegetable, thousand years old egg with green bell pepper, spicy chicken, needle mushroom. When we opened the bag, we were flabbergasted, every single box was soooooooo small ( see picture). Barely enough for 6 people. Not quite a happy experience for a birthday lunch...... Bill was $114, not worth it

I placed a phone order for crispy fried wontons & wonton soup. When I got there they hadn't even started my order, so she asked me to wait. I waited for 20 min before they brought my to go order. When I got home, I realized that my order wasn't right I got some sort of wrap with spinach in it and they weren't crispy. They we're awful on the fact that I hate spinach.... It is the only vegetable I will not eat and I didn't understand why it was spinach. Wontons are supposed to have meat in them.

Really putting so much MSG in their soup. The service is really bad as well. Not only they miss out one of my order. But they don’t seem to have enough plates or bowl available. We heard customer who came later than us being told they need to wait for their plate as it’s in the midst of being wash. There are only two waitress and in many occasion of my one hour visit there. They can consistently be missing. Don’t get fooled by all the 5stars rating here or the long wait outside. It’s not because it’s good. It’s because the service is slow and bad. I don’t even want to trust those five stars rating here

I waited weeks for this place to open hoping for the best....what a disappointment! I had pork noodles and a pork stir fry dish and rice. The meat in both was over cooked till it was tough. The dishes were tasteless except for the spicy hotness of the stir fry. My bill was $35 which would have too expensive even if the food was edible.

Bad service... nobody took care of customers. Only one lady and a chief there working in kitchen at the same moment. No decent communication and terrible attitude. This place was poorly disorganized as well...They did a lots to-go orders tho. Plus, after got home I found my rice missing ... won’t come back. No recommendation. Add: food is salty!! Not tasty at all!!

If you’ve never been there,simply just don’t go!!! Order some Jiangnan dishes and I heard the cook was shouting at the waitress in the kitchen: why you recommend the customer to order the dishes that I don’t know how to cook at all! Seriously he was really loud that I can hear it clearly every single word! Those dishes are listed on the menu so I should at what can the cook cook? The white rice I got has a browny color and they told me the rice is ok to eat, just a bit “aged”??!! The food tasted not good at all and this whole restaurant is a joke!! I’ll never come back! JUST DO NOT GO!
