La Farfalla Bakery

We got the mango mousse cake for our anniversary. It was super delicious! The cake and mousse were light and the sweetness is very mellow. BUT we are Muslims and can't consume non halal animal based gelatin products. Unfortunately we found out AFTER eating the cake. But we will still give five stars for such a light and yummy cake.

Great birthday cakes. My daughter's friend used this bakery for her birthday party (pre-covid). We LOVED it. Since then, I have ordered cakes from them for birthdays and La Farfalla never disappoints. I like that they use cream instead of sugary icing. My son's birthday is coming up, and I cannot wait to taste their cake again!

Delicious and fresh pastries, savory and sweet. The tea is delicious and always tastes fresh, and there are an impressive variety of options for it not explicitly being a tea shop. Very friendly employees. Small patio area outside if you would like to sit and enjoy a treat. I've heard the cakes are excellent but have not tried them yet. Everything is very reasonably priced- $1.50-$3.50 for pastries, under $4 for a medium tea with flavor and a topping.

Went here for some macarons! Loved the strawberry, blueberry, and chocolate macarons so much! The coffee mousse cake is REALLY bitter, which I was a fan of, and the strawberry mouse cake is perfectly balanced between acidity and sweetness. Would go here again, but it's really expensive, so I range from coming here at least 3-4 times a year with lots of money saved.

I'm so confused about the good reviews. Is this place better in the morning or something? Went there today at about one in the afternoon. List of grievances: Cases were 70% empty. I know bakeries try to run out at the end of the day but seriously, why even be open in the middle of the day if you're not going to have the majority of your product on display? Milk tea was pretty good. What wasn't good was that I asked for it unsweetened with a certain type of boba and ended up with two pumps of syrup and the wrong boba. Decided to splurge on some macarons. The pistachio, rose and caramel tasted like nothing, the lemon, blueberry and mango all tasted like various strengths of fruit loops and the coffee tasted like burnt coffee at the bottom of the pot at the end of the day. If this were the only place around, I'd have nothing to compare it to. But I grew up with quickly and sheng kee and am just sad. Also, I understand that people seem to like their cakes. If you're not there for a cake, don't bother. Not worth the coupons you got in the mail.
