Great noodle! I can chew the effort within it. I love the thinly sliced radish, and minced garlic sprouts, really shows the chef's ability of knife. Thanks for dicing the beef too. I do think the broth could still be improved. The portion is slightly on the small side but that's not a problem to me.

Really a TINY portion for the la mian. No chopsticks or forks for to go orders. What did you expect me to eat them with? Really a bad experience. Won’t return.

I was here for Lanzhou Beef Noodle (兰州拉面). If the best one I have had is 10 stars, i rate the 兰州拉面 here as 8. The hand made noodles were almost perfect, but the broth lacked some flavor. Most other side dishes I tried were so so. The pork feet was a failure, too hard to chew.

We came here for boba tea next door(very good) and found this hidden gem of a restaurant, Shinry Lamian. They specialize in Chinese savory beef noodle soup and the noodles are all handmade on site. They have a bunch of different types of noodles to choose from and we picked a thick flat noodle similar to Tagliatelle. The noodle soup came out promptly and was delicious with the noodles cooked Al dente. We went a bit crazy and ordered a side of shrimp and pork dumplings which were perfectly cooked and very juicy. We also ordered 2 of the cold appetizers(marinated beef and woodear mushrooms/fungus) as well as a crepe appetizer with Chinese donut. All the dishes were great. The owner is a very nice young lady who stopped by at the end of the meal to introduce herself. She just graduated from UCD and decided to follow her passion for food by opening a restaurant.

Noodles are good. The beef tastes nothing special. It would be better if they have more meat for the beef noodle in terms of $11 for a small one.

Loved it ever since my first time coming here. The noodles are so so good! Tried the buckwheat noodles today and the spicy soup thing... Very tasty! The spicy soup thing is pretty darn spicy though!

Very authentic Lanzhou Lamian (hand pulled noodle), comparable to some good ones I've had in China, definitely better than average. Some people were complaining about the portion of meat in the noodle soup, but that had more to do with the style, unlike regular beef noodle, the emphasis of the dish is on the noodle (I mean, you wouldn't go to a Japanese ramen house and expect to have more than a couple slices of meat in the bowl, because that's not the point). The seasoning in Liangpi (cold noodle with glutton) is also very good, perfectly spicy and flavorful, might be more of an acquired taste if you never had it before though-didn't get to take a photo of it, we got too busy eating...

Disappointing. Food took a solid 20-30 minutes to arrive after ordering even though the restaurant wasn't even busy, maybe half-full at most. The noodles are supposed to be fresh and hand-pulled but they were overcooked and mushy, especially after a few minutes. The beef in the Lanzhou noodles was also underwhelming, mostly tough and flavorless. My dad ordered the pineapple fried rice (it was bland and possibly unsalted) and the rice wasn't evenly fried; there were chunks of cold rice throughout the dish. The only reason this isn't a 1 star review is because the beef broth was actually pretty decent. Too bad the noodles in it were mediocre at best.
