Excellent. I've been eating at this place since it was B & B Seafood. The cook from B & B Seafood bought it and they still make excellent food. Best fresh gulf fried shrimp anywhere. We buy them buy the pound and bring them home to eat. Totally fabulous!!! My son's favorite is the grilled crawfish salad. It's all good.
Great food, perfect lunch spot, great daily specials. Ask for Isis to wait on you.

First time here, We were looking for seafood and I found this place and looked at the menu prices on the Google map that people had posted.We decided to try it out, when we got here the place didn’t stand out and you second guess yourself if you should go in. We decided to give it a shot, we walked in and right away was greeted. You order at the counter and they didn’t have any menus. The plates special were on the wall and the prices were totally different from what we saw.But we were there and we ordered a plate called Season Plate with 5 jumbo shrimps and two catfish, fries and hush puppies.We order two plates and the plates cost $13.99 and we love crab au gratin , so we took a chance to try there’s and bought a large for $8.99.We also ordered two coke cans. We ended up paying $42 bucks. We sat down and have to admit the place was no fancy place but it was clean and it had a crowd picking up food to go.We waited a couple of minutes but we knew everything had to be getting cooked for the while we waited and that is a plus for us. We rather wait for fresh food than food you get right away. Once we got the food, our food was hot and looked delicious. The size of the shrimp were jumbo and the catfish were a good size. The crab was hot and looking tasty. We enjoyed every bit of the food.We were glad we came in to try out this place the food was delicious and we will be back.
My first visit and the food was great! I took my food to go (we had our pre Thanksgiving party at the office), but unless you're a huge party of 30 people there's plenty of tables for lunch groups. I highly recommend trying it out!
Got the catfish / shrimp basket and added a stuffed crab. Food was excellent. Fish was flakey and honestly very fresh less fishy than I remembered catfish ever being. This is exactly what I was hoping for.

Came here after searching through Google reviews and finding this gem! While the location leaves a little to be desired, it speaks volumes when the locals rave about a place, and that's exactly what we found here. As we had a large party, we got to try quite a bit of the menu between us all. And let's just say every person cleaned their plate! The food tasted fresh and the fried dishes were not greasy and were not over-breaded. The people working were very nice and very patient with our large party. We all left very satisfied and feeling like we got a great meal at a fair price. We will be back next time we visit!
A hole-in-the-wall local seafood dive. Excellent food and great service. The crab au gratin is to die for!
We've spent about half of the year each year in this area for the last number of years caring for an elderly family member. During that time we've tried many of the seafood restaurants in a number of the cities in the surrounding area. In our opinion, We've found R.R.'s to be the most tasty and most consistent of the seafood establishments(they're jumbo shrimp are best I've ever had anywhere!). Although, the ambiance may leave something to be desired, the food and friendliness n service of the staff is top notch. It's always at least a once a month stop when we're visiting down here.

Food was good and you got plenty. Online menu prices are out of date. This is a "hole in the wall " kind of place but it was clean. Stuffed shrimp was delicious my husband loved the crab aulgratin which is served hot. Took a little time to get our food because everything is cooked to order.
Always great food everything I've ever ordered was delicious. Staff very nice. Family friendly and numerous specials. I highly recommend. It's not a fancy restaurant set up more like a diner.

Rudy Roo's is a hole In the wall restaurant. It is a lunch location for shift workers at the local plants. The Cheeseburger basket included a very juicy meat patty with thick cut onions and tomatoes. The bun succumbed to the juices from the burger. It was a 4 napkin burger. Excellent.
The fries were warm and cooked firm... nothing telling me I need them next time.
Rudy Roo's is a small restaurant. The food is incredibly good. Don't judge the looks of the restaurant by the taste of the food. The seafood tasted great and the wait staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Condiments are readily available on the table. Parking is sometimes a problem as the restaurant normally gets crowded for lunch.
I enjoy eating here at Rudy's Roo's Seafood. This is a small family restaurant and they treat you very good. Most shrimp plates have average size shrimp but the jumbo shrimp plates is the one I like. There fish is also good. All of there seafood is fresh and I think that is another reason I go there.
I've had many lunches here. It's all good. Get the fried shrimp to go, eat it on the beach at Quintana or Bryan beach, and toss the bit of shell and a few fries to the sea gulls. Good value, cooked while you wait unless you call it in.
Family owned restaurant excelling in cooking fresh seafood to perfection. Large portions are seasoned properly and well. The family is gracious in their service and consider their establishment a labor of love.
