King's Chinese Restaurant

I started going to this place when they first opened up almost 40 years ago. I no longer live in NJ but when I come to visit I always eat here. They have the best Chinese food around. This is a family owned establishment and a few things have changed over the years and decades but everything is as good now as it was back then. I highly recommend. Great portion sizes lots of options very friendly staff and family. A+++

Absolutely delicious Chinese food! You can never go wrong at King’s. This is a small restaurant that’s been a staple in Freehold forever!!!! Way back in the day, it started as tiny take-out only; the authentic, fresh and divinely tasty dishes became so popular that customer demand warranted this tiny take out’s expansion to a small restaurant. This is a family owned business (one and the same owner from the very beginning) demonstrating tremendous pride in their business. One of the proprietors makes the daily commute to the Freehold restaurant from his home in Queens, NY. On his commute, he stops at New York’s fresh fish and seafood markets to pick up King’s catch of the day.

Went on a Friday night, very busy(good sign in my eyes) and waited about 30 minutes for a table. Ordered boneless ribs as an appetizer and ordered 2 combinations. Took a while for ribs to come out and Freddy said it was his uncle forgot and he was sorry, and our dinners came out right after. Serving size is very good and food is much higher quality then the average Chinese restaurant in NJ.
