Mixed thoughts. They were understaffed but worked hard. The food was good but not great. It was a good ways out of town but mostly full. Probably not on my must do list and need to try more places to know if I would recommend over others.

The atmosphere and history are very interesting and eye-catching. The staff was friendly and prompt enough, given the busyness. The food was overpriced for the quality and quantity. (My menu might be pre-inflation prices. It's been a couple months since our visit.)

Such a great little find off 87 right before you get into Fredericksburg! I had the crab cake benedict and a bloody mary both were delicious. We went on a Sunday morning and there was already a line before they opened, but the service was great.

Great experience from the beginning. The staff were friendly. Food was delicious. Some of the menu ingredients were local, so you can taste the difference. We appreciated the drinks! The dining area has options. Overall, smart choice to visit and eat at Hill Top Cafe.

Great food and even better music. We had crab cakes and Caesar salad as an appetizer I had the red beans and rice, my boyfriend had the chopped steak. Unique menu but everything that we had was very good. A little pricey but with the live music was a great deal.

Food was good, but atmosphere could be really cool, except nobody has put any TLC into keeping it cool and quaint in a really long time. I could tell or use to be amazing…. The outside had path that I thought would lead to something beautiful but it was trashy. Disappointed in the overall experience
