Good food, homey but cleanliness.. needs work. Our glasses were absolutely filthy particularly at the top at the rim. Waitress didn't think there's anything wrong with these.. you be the judge.

Phenomenal food and service! We went around 9:30-10 am for a late breakfast and we thoroughly enjoyed everything we had! This was halfway through my burrito, you sure get your moneys worth!

Stopped by for a lunch. Had the Ruben and wife had a hamburger. Both were served quickly and were hot and tasty. The staff was friendly. The decor was quaint and clean. They are open for breakfast (which you can get all day) and lunch. Would eat there again.

Although the place was packed when we arrived the food came out relatively quick. Nothing fancy on the plate presentation but the taste was definitely good. The staff was very attentive and courteus. Emirza and I will come back next time we visit this cool little town of Fredericksburg!!!

Great large breakfast, brunch servings (crab cakes were small though). The food is not fancy, but the chicken fried steak was spot on and the migas breakfast burrito would keep me coming back

What a delicious breakfast joint! My husband and I visited Fredericksburg a few weeks ago for our anniversary and had a wonderful breakfast at City Cafe one morning. If you're looking for the "home cooked meal" feel, you definitely want to give City Cafe a try! I ordered the tastiest meat & veggie omelet with a side of their "home fries". It was probably the best omelet I've ever had! The service was wonderful even though they were particularly busy the morning we went. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience with yummy food and we definitely hope to be back soon!
