Blackstone is the coffee shop I wish I had locally, but there is nothing in my area like it. Whenever I visit the Fredericksburg area, I always get my coffee at Blackstone.
The prices are comparable, if not slightly more expensive than Starbucks, but the quality of the coffee is so much better. They roast and blend all their coffee themselves, so the coffee you're drinking was only roasted a day or two ago.
If you are stopping by Fredericksburg or simply passing through, I would highly recommend stopping by Blackstone.

I used to go here all the time while I was at university and they made the best caramel lattes I've ever had. I was recently in Fredericksburg and had to stop by this place again - they still make the best caramel lattes I've ever had. Both the employees and the coffee are fantastic, what's not to love?

Best frozen mochas!! Perfect balance of chocolate and strong coffee, which I rarely find. Regular black coffee wasn't amazing the one time I had it...maybe I have to try a different roast. I would recommend their blended coffee drinks

Blackstone's fresh-roasted beans are the best in town. I buy a couple of bags a month. When I need to study for a work presentation, you can bet I will be in the comfort of Blackstone with a shot in the dark ;)
The sandwiches are excellent. I am hooked on the Don Corleone. Hmm, I know where I am going for lunch today!

Great coffee. I often feel that some of the big coffee chains are over roasted, but this coffee is smooth and tasteful. The lattes are my favorite. Parking can be a bit tricky, but business must be good!

This is a great coffee shop. Great service and good community of people that work and get their Joe there. I enjoy Don's espresso. Make sure you get it to drink in the shop so it can enjoy the crema from the expert pulls from the friendly baristas

It has been almost impossible to find roasted coffee that is as fresh and delicious as when I have roasted it myself. Don and Paula Merritt have it down to a science though. For the very best coffee experience you can find anywhere, go to Blackstone Coffee Company!

Great place wholesome place! We drove from Lorton this morning to try this place; I wish we lived closer.
Coffee and specialty drinks are great and all baked goods are baked daily in house!!!! The baker is there every morning and the food is incredible!!! We had the orange lb cake and quiche with a cappuccino and an americano. Everything was soooo good! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️'S and 👍👍👍👍👍's way up!!!
