First time getting food from Peking Gourmet was a positive experience. The people there are indeed nice and helpful. We ordered a full Peking duck, and there were plenty of "pancakes," scallions, and sauce. It was enough for two pre-teen kids and two adults. The duck was cooked nicely but prepared differently than we've had elsewhere--P.G. roughly cut it into a lot of randomly-sized pieces; we've typically had it sliced more uniformly. Not a deal-breaker, but when sharing with kids, you know there was grabbing for the big chunks! Steamed and fried pork dumplings were very good, and butterfly shrimp were nicely done. Dumplings were definitely best we've had in Frederick. I will try them again for some other dishes.

GREAT Delicious Food here.
Today I tried the Beef, Broccoli and Rice.
It was Delicious.
Usually I get the Orange Chicken with Rice or the General Tso's Chicken with Rice, which is also GREAT.
Everything that I have ever eaten here, has been GREAT.
Great Prices and Great Professional Staff as well as Very Clean Restaurant.
It is worth the trip.
Great Prices on Lunch Specials.
They only have take out for now because of Covid. Can't eat inside the Restaurant area.
I prefer take out anyway.
I would HIGHLY Recommend this place to Everyone.🙏

Delicious food delivered fast. My favorite dish is the Hunan Lamb; spicy, tasty made with fresh ingredients. And their steamed dumplings and sauce are really good too. Always friendly on the phone, too!

Best Asian food in Frederick. Best egg drop soup I have ever had ANYWHERE! The egg rolls are always perfect. The staff is always friendly.

It’s the worst and most disgusting food I’ve ever had. Shrimp isn’t cleaned, it tasted horrible. Food took an hour and half to be delivered. Wasted my money and time and no dinner.

They were quick and got my order right, but that’s where the praise ends. I got the General Tso and Pork Fried Rice. The general tsos is just not good, the best part of general tso for me is the crispy coating. There is no crisp and the sauce is not at all spicy or good. The fried rice is also subpar. Truthfully this is the worst Chinese food that I’ve ever had. First and only foray with Peking Gourmet.

Solid. Good sesame chicken and egg rolls. Pork fried rice was a bit over cooked buy not bad. General tso chicken was on the spicy side so be warned.

Our office orders out daily and today this was the place they chose. My first time trying Peking Gourmet - Frederick and my last. Everything was over cooked and flavorless. To see a rating of 4.3 starts and to receive a meal I actually threw out instead of eating concerns me a great deal. Either my expectations are way too high for a 4.3 rating or the ppl of Frederick are just too polite OR have never had really good American/Chinese food and knows no better. Regardless though this was by far the worst food I’ve had in Frederick, MD so far.
