Amazing AMAZING place! My boyfriend and I absolutely LOVE coming here! The atmosphere is great, the staff is always so friendly, and the food/drinks are so good! What I love about this place that differs from other Mexican food places is that they have such unique items on their menu that I've never seen on other menus. And it makes me want to try them all! We've been here a couple of times but this time my boyfriend got the toltecos molcajete and I got the choose 3 combo with a flauta, chimichanga and tamale. And for dessert we got the fried ice cream. Also I highly recommend the Hawaiian maragrita and the table side guac (not pictured). If you've never had Table side guac before it's THE BEST! 10/10 definatly should come!

I loved! especially the choripollo to another level🥰. The chicken poblano was tasty but it lacked a little more flavor or seasoning.

Alicia was wonderful! She was so fast and checked in on our table everytime she passed us. The food was amazing and we were there when it was fairly busy and we received our food in about 10minutes after ordering it. Portions were very large. I have a gluten allergy, Alicia and the manager took special care to make sure the food was safe for me.

Always friendly. Warm, fresh chips. Salsa is nothing special but they are generous. Festive music. Fast. Food comes out on hot plates. 4 stars not 5 because food is good, not amazing but I’m still a repeat customer.

Plain But Satisfying Food, Ventilation Issues I enjoyed the carnitas, they were tender. The retried beans were thin and nearly soup-like. Tasty guacamole. Chips and salsa were nothing special. Reasonable prices for the area. No wifi. I enjoyed being able to watch sports at the bar. Several tvs. Dining area large enough with many booths. Staff courteous. I did not enjoyed the thick smoke that billows from the kitchen. Enough to impare vision for several minutes. I was told it happens regularly.

Went there for the second time today. First time my boyfriend and I had dinner, and today we had lunch. Both times it was wo derful. The staff is friendly, the food is great, and the lunch prices were so reasonable!! The margaritas are also super tasty and massive. Love this place. We will be back!

GLUTEN FREE/CELIAC FRIENDLY! My wife and I are relatively new to Frederick. She has celiac disease and it's always hard to find places she can eat that are also actually good. Especially since we don't know the area very well. So today we were jonesing for some Mexican food. We called around but nobody really knew if they could do gluten free. You know what I'm talking about... When the person on the other end of the phone responds with "Uuhhhhh...what?" Anyways, where was I? Ah, that's right, Los Toltecos! So I was about to give up but decided to make one more call. It was a relief when the manager answered and explained that they not only do gluten free, but have gluten free beer as well. We were on our way! So you're probably wondering about the food. It was excellent. Generous portions, excellent quality, and all around delicious! You can eat well here, stay gluten safe, and enjoy a GF beer with friends if you're so inclined. Will definitely return!
