Rylan's Restaurant

Been to Rylan's before but it had been a while since we don't live local. We were in the area this evening. I had a 4 vegetable plate consisting of greens, cabbage, baked sweet potato and broccoli salad. I could have gotten by with 3 but every thing was perfect. I wouldn't have given up a thing. Hubby had Philly cheese sandwich and fries. It was awesome. We live an hour plus away. So glad we choose to do an afternoon drive that direction today. My husband is very sick. When he is up for getting out, I make it happen. He ate very well and enjoyed his day. Thank you for great food and excellent service.

I was a little disappointed in this place. Came for dinner to get a homecooked meal. I had the chicken and dressing, mac and cheese, turnip greens. I couldn’t eat the turnip greens because they were so salty. Chicken and dressing was just ok and the mac and cheese wasn’t great. The staff was running around grabbing plates constantly. Before we could finish anything they were grabbing plates while We were trying to eat. Almost rushing us out. The young lady busing tables kept spraying bleach on the tables next to us. We couldn’t keep but smelling the constant odor of bleach. Finally my friend said something to her. She was turning the chairs up on the tables at 630 pm. It was probably 10 people in there eating while this was going on. It was chaos. Went to check out, and we were charged for 4 cokes. Had to get that fixed. Disappointed really.
