Sal's Family Pizza - Franklin - Photo album

The sals in Edmunson pike is much better. The pizza at the Hillsboro location is not at all comparable to NY or Philly or even Domino’s. The crust is flavorless and not browned nor flavored, toppings are thrown haphazardly all over and the cheese and sauce are skimpy and uneven. The pizzas are are
I have been coming to this place since I was in high school - it used to be great. Recently tried it again after moving back for the first time in maybe eight years. It was ok. We ordered through DoorDash. The Greek salad was good and a generous portion with yummy house dressing. The white pizza was

Good for the price, for sure. It's no Joey's (rip) but not terrible. Don't let the mediocre-looking pizza in the display give you pause. Much better after warming! I'd stop here again.
My family is from Jersey, so I got spoiled with pizza from a young age. This was one of the few pizza places where I got a taste of the true New York style in my backyard. Pizza was hot and heavy with toppings! Will definitely be going back again!
