Review Yats - Franklin

Loved the vegetarian/vegan options!! The staff here are so sweet. Very tasty New Orleans style food!! We were reminded of NOLA! (Thank you for some Mardi Gras chains) 😍 Please bring the po-boys too 😁😁

Cajun food is not my preferred food, but found Yats online with high ratings, so we decided to have lunch there. I am very glad we did. When I told the person at the counter that I am not familiar with the food, he patiently went through the menu with detailed explanation of the flavor of each item. He also told us that if we don’t like our ordered food, he is happy to change for us. My husband and I both ordered half and half, so we got 4 different items on the menu and we are happy with every item! Drunken chicken is my favorite.and Marq quox chicken is the favorite of my husband’. The person at the counter even came to ask me how I like the food, even though he has been very busy. Highly recommend this place!

loved this place!!! my family is from Louisiana and this checked all the boxes for me as genuine cuisine. the atmosphere is great too and reminds me of being in NOLA 🤩

I travel all over and eat at so many different places and this is easily one of my top 5 favorite food places to eat at. Always consistent and delicious. There is an entree for any taste bud. 🖤🖤❤❤🍻 Soooooo Goooodd..... You WON'T regret it!!!!!

I would like to start by saying I was so excited to try this restaurant seeing as though I’ve heard great things about it and I’m an expecting mother that has been craving Creole food; but I soon realized that this was yet another failed attempt to receive good food and fair customer service in Nashville. I entered the restaurant and I went to the counter and I was asked if this was my first visit; in which I so proudly said yes and explained that I have friends that stop by whenever they’re in town. I was given my options from the menu; which I ordered the Red Beans and Rice, Gumbo, and Jambalaya. Which were all a complete fail in my opinion. I’ve never had sweet Red Beans and Rice and the the Gumbo and Jambalaya were just plan nasty. I have literally had better Creole food from a Zatarain’s box. To add insult to injury for the very mediocre food that I subsequently put in the trash after I got home; there was a Caucasian couple directly behind me and they approached the register after I moved to end of the bar to await my order and they were greeted very nicely and asked if it was they’re first time as well but the associate asked if they would they like to sample all of the options before ordering. That was so disheartening because I stood there with feelings of, why couldn’t I have received that same type of customer service because I definitely would have wanted to try the other options as well even though the ones I selected were not good at all in my opinion. Sadly to say I told my husband this story who is none African American and my friends that recommended this restaurant and we all agreed that we would never return to the restaurant!!!!

We had a GREAT experience at Yats tonight. The manager was extremely informative on how the restaurant works and even allowed us to taste everything on the menu before we made a selection. The chef changes the menu daily so everything is fresh and different each time. We love Cajun food and were very impressed with the menu. The food was spectacular. Something for everyone, even our picky 11 year old loved the rice and beans. And the price?! I dare you to find a better price with food this amazing. If you want an authentic taste of New Orleans right in Cool Springs you need to give Yats a try. We will be back!!!

I was a first timer and hadn't had Cajun food (except for Popeyes 🤣). Service was amazing! That itself was worth 5 ⭐ but then we tried the food and it was out of this world amazing! I got 1/2 and 1/2 chicken chipotle Alexio and maque choux and it was so dang good! My husband got the chili cheese etouffee and he said it was delicious as well! Will definitely be back!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️

Amazing food. Nothing around Nashville compares to what they offer here. Super friendly staff, they even walk over and ask how everything is. The only thing I wish they would add is an additional side of sausage, as the Columbus Yats offers extra sausage for like $2 more. All in all it's amazing experience period, definitely come by and try it if you're curious!
