I want to say I am disappointed that they aren’t opening up their own location, instead a collaboration with Mario’s deli. Romanos was a place where families would come and enjoy themselves and in a sense felt like a community and family. They would have karaoke nights, wine and paint, and more . a
Verrryy disappointed and sad. An end of an era. Originally I thought that il Romano would be moving to Mario’s deli having a seperate restraunt inside. Unfortunately, Mario’s deli just sells their items and they look old and unappetizing. Sad because Me and my family would go to romanos ALL the time

Nice Italian cafe. Nothing fancy, authentic everyday fare that is simple and delicious.
The pizza was ok. Wasn't particularly amazing but decent Chicago style pizza. The place felt a little dingy and the plates were small lipped styrofoam, which was terrible for eat pizza on.
Overall I would recommend this place, but would like to see more appropriate plates and better cleaning.
ordered takeout . Masks required to enter. Cook had mask, but "owner"(?) wasn't wearing a mask. Phoned order in and all was correct! very Reasonable prices !! ordered Greek , Mediterranean salads, egg plant sandwich, Ravioli with meat sauce. Salad dressings served in individual packets . the Raviol
