Hoggy's Ice Cream

Good Ice Cream Good Price. Both hard ice cream and soft serve offered. Servings are great, large selection of flavors, toppings, and cones. Friendly, smiling, fast, accurate service. Small, tight location in downtown Frankfort, KY, not for big groups- can eat in, but best for taking out. Clean establishment. Parking is challenging, accessible, but difficult unless you have a power chair.

Line out the door, three ppl behind the counter, plenty of waffle batter visible but, "we don't have that right now" 🤔😳 after waiting 30 minutes? That's just unacceptable. I bought my daughter a milk shake, however after several visits with the same results, I will NOT be spending anymore money here.

Great mom & pop ice cream shop in downtown Frankfort. Indoor and outside seating. Lots of options on the menu and 20 flavors of hand-dipped ice cream to choose from. Prices are reasonable. Waffle cones are the best I think I've ever had - nice and thick and I think there might be a hint of vanilla in the batter. This place is hopping and pretty much always has a line, but it's worth the wait. Staff is super nice and care about you as a customer.

Hoggy's was a perfect stop on a 90 degree humid day in Frankfort! The ice cream is smooth and delicious! This shop was just what Frankfort needed to spice up downtown a little bit! With it's bright positive colors, it stands out like a happily sore thumb! (which is a good thing!) And I'll definitely be returning, especially to stick it to the chain stores like baskin robins! And I love all of the creativity they put into the decor and menu items! This is actually a very unique ice cream store! And the staff were also very friendly!

Hoggy's is always a delight! The staff is friendly and they have many ice-cream choices, even some dairy-free options. It's family-friendly and such a cute atmosphere! Most treats are all under $5 and they have many different "sloppings" as add-ons. They make all their waffle cones and bowls from scratch daily and the whole place always smells like warmed vanilla. Give them a follow on Facebook to keep up with all their events and their hours. We definitely love some Hoggy's!

We walked into the door and were immediately enraptured with the aroma of waffle cone cooking. This of course sealed the deal fresh waffle cones means you have to try the ice cream. The ice cream was smooth and creamy. The waffle cone was perfectly carmelized lending an added depth of flavor to the ice cream. A heavenly experience and a must try if you are in Frankfort to visit the capitol building and the historic downtown district.
