Every time I come here my experience is always positive! The food comes fast and tastes extremely good. Alcoholic beverages are also top notch with excellent margaritas and other mixed drinks. Service also didn’t disappoint with my waitress being very kind and professional. Definitely give this restaurant a try!!

Love the outdoor seating on the lake. They offered 2 different steak burritos. One with a red sauce on it. My brother and I both ordered the regular burrito dinners but both got the red sauce on ours. It was ok but not a fan of the red sauce and the burrito itself was kinda bland. Other two with us enjoyed their meals pork tacos and chicken tamales they said was good. The outdoor seating is the best tho.

We've been coming to El Puerto since it opened more than 20 years ago. We have never been disappointed in the food or the service. Saul runs a great place.

Great place to relax, drink margaritas, and watch the boats go bye. Food is fair to good. Ordered pork tamales. Had a hard time finding any pork in them. Fajitas smelled awesome . It was hit or miss with the food at our table. Service was cheerful and attentive. Visit served its purpose.

Love this place! It's definitely a hidden gem. I ordered the steak taco salad, and it was delicious! The photo is the view if you sit outside!

Love El Puertos patio. Food and service are amazing and quick. If you're docking a boat on the piers, I recommend having additional bumpers since the lake can be pretty rough occasionally in that area

This place cannot be beat. I have been coming back for years. Amazing view on Fox Lake. The food is outstanding ! The salsa is to die for!! The molé is perfection. The service is always terrific. Never disappointed.

Only ate here once, but this place has the best eating location in Mchenry County. On a “peninsula” in Fox Lake looking over the water is a perfect spot to relax after work, a romantic evening, or on your boat in the marina on site.
Parking was the main issue for me. Felt a bit congested. But if you got a boat, park in the marina and get some takeout!

Fast, friendly, and quiet. Service was slow, but we hit them right at the lunch rush. Boat slips are tight, bring your bumpers, but they can dock 50 boats.
