I live in Dallas and I heard about this place on TV while undergoing cancer chemo for leukemia. I made a goal to see it when we visited family in Phoenix for Thanksgiving, if I lived long enough.
And what else can I say, The owner has created a magical gem on top of a mountain. It was every bit as nice as I hoped it would be. I am so grateful I got to see it.
We had the margherita pizza. Actually the best I've had. Clearly they care about the ingredients.
We enjoyed a couple of drinks with a perfect sunset view. And when I didn't think it could get any better live music started to play. My wife and I, with our 1 year old son stayed for an extra hour just to enjoy the atmosphere and had a heartwarming conversation with the owner. We will definitely be back when we visit Phoenix again. Locals are lucky they have the owner nearby creating such a wonderful place.
Incredible view, we hosted a corporate event there. The staff was really flexible with our needs in the chef made a phenomenal St. Patrick’s Day meal. The food was above average but not exceptional. I would definitely go back, but I would maybe want to try some thing other than the themed meal.
Amazing view with chill, laid back vibe. Beautiful and delicious food with a spectacular view. Full bar and great daily choices for meals. A must stop when near Scottsdale or Fountain Hills.
We saw this restaurant on tv and happened to be in the area so we stopped by! Heidi was here, super smiley, happy and welcoming! We had drinks and dessert! Will definitely be back! The view of the valley is amazing! Highly reccomended!

The main cook makes a killer chicken Alfredo and has that place dialed in. He's a protector,leader, and amazing chef.
They recently rearranged their patio furniture and every single seat has a chance at the incredible views that Fountain Hills is known for.
A must go!

I visited Vu Bistro to plan a private celebration with no idea how to organize the event. Heidi was extremely helpful with menu items, times to invite guests and the whole nine yards. The location, view and atmosphere will be perfect for my event.
Great vibe. Excellent prices. Delicious food. Sophia provides top shelf service. The wedge salad 🥗, the burger and the fig bruschetta were outstanding.

Heidi‘s unique atmosphere and the view at the view is fantastic. The food is always a nice presentation and something you would not expect. When it comes its seriously delicious. I look forward to going to this restaurant every time I’m in the desert. The wine selection is great as well. If you want a good place that’s out-of-the-way with a dynamite view for a special night this is it.

We were visiting Fountain Hills for our anniversary and had a thoroughly enjoyable and delicious dinner at the Vu. All the food was great and the view is priceless. The wine list has nice diversity and the prices seemed fair. Add to that some live entertainment and it was really a perfect evening. Thanks Heidi. We'll definitely be visiting the Vu again next time we're in town.
The Vu is TOP notched in every category! The Vu also has wonderful features such as live entertainment. It is so unique.
