We had takeout so the atmosphere wasn't an issue for us. I can tell you that it's not a fancy place and you have to order your food at the counter. They deliver it, but there is no waitstaff.
The food and service was excellent as always. I highly recommend the Chile Colorado Super Nachos.
Taco Loco is my favorite place to go in Fortuna. Best quality food by far. Fresh and tasty. Quick service. Friendly staff.
I absolutely love there Chile Reanos. I've eaten them all over there's are the best. I have never been disappointed with anything off the menu.
And they stayed open through the pandemic.
If you go for lunch try to go before 11:30. Or you may have to wait. Or call it in. The high school is nearby and can get crowded at lunch.

We ate way too many burritos šÆ on this trip. Came back to this place twice. They serve these as wet burritos on a plate. But, after the crazy guy came in and had a fit because his burrito was falling apart and he couldn't eat it, we found that they will make you one you can hold in your hand.
I had the Chili Colorado burrito (the one with the red sauce.) š
The wife had a bean and cheese with rice and green sauce.
The boys had a chicken š burrito šÆ (pictured with the lettuce and sour cream and red sauce).
I highly recommend the bathroom. It's like using your aunt's bathroom. It might not make sense. But, that's the best way I know how to put it.
We ordered for pickup and it was ready in record time! Food was some of the better Mexican Iāve had in Humboldt. Prices are a little steep ($11.99 for four taquitos, ouch), but you do get big burritos and good serving sizes. Staff was super friendly.
My friend and I ate there for the first time. I had no idea that I was missing out! The food delicious, service impeccable and prices, I had to ask a second timeāsuper reasonable!
I have been here twice, and the food is good. Service is great, too. I like their carnitas and asada. Looking forward to trying the birria tacos next.
This has got to be the best Mexican restaurant weāve been to in Humboldt.
Weāve eaten here a couple of times and it is really good. Salsa is fresh and homemade warmed hot is super tasty. It is kinda a takeout place. But we like to set down and relax. They have bar chairs and high tables, which I like. And itās fast and friendly service!
15 bucks will get you some really delicious food here. Better taste than a lot of sit down places back in my home state of Wosconsin. If I am ever back in the area again, I am definitely stopping in again.

By far, they have the best Chile rellenĆ³ encremado on the Northcoast. You can order it as a meal accompanied w/beans and rice or ala carte as seen here. Their beef fajitas as you can see are also remarkable. A bit overdone per my liking but Iām sure if requested that wouldnāt be an issue as they have great customer service.
Great little shop! Had the Cali Loco burrito and a marg that hit the spot. Staff was happy and seemed to be enjoying work!

We stopped here for lunch and it was delicious! They are very vegetarian and vegan friendly. The service was really quick and cheery. Their salsas were excellent. We'll be back next time we pass through.

This has been a favorite since I was a kid. Always consistent and very flavorful! I love coming home
to visit and getting the carne asada tacos.
They must have a new cook because the food here got way better recently.
