Double D’s is a treasure....something so amazing that you want to keep to yourself but end up blabbing to everyone about. The establishment provides a formal dining area for quieter, personal dining or a small bar area where on the weekends there is a musician, Ann, who plays her guitar and sings her heart out. The dining experience begins with an antipasto platter, and delicious fresh baked bread loafs, followed by raviolis and salad (and FYI the croutons are made in house and I usually eat a bowl before the fsalad comes because they are that good) then soup and if for some reason your not full....watch out cause here comes your main course. I’ve had many main course dishes but honestly when I go to a steakhouse I go for the steak and the steaks here are to die for. The bacon bleu filet is my favorite. The sauce on the steak is a mouthwatering garlic butter mushroom bleu cheese, that is so good you will want to lick the plate. You also get your choice of sides. I go with the sautéed veggies and mashed potatoes (the macaroni and cheese is bomb too....it’s homemade with bacon crumbles). The veggies are never soggy, sautéed perfectly al dente. Honestly I have never had a dessert there. I am always beyond full, on food overload and have undone the buttons on my jeans. You are guaranteed to never leave hungry.
The staff is GREAT. Debbie has done an amazing job selecting staff who are friendly and personable. Even on busy evenings the staff will take the time to ask if you would like more bread or anything while waiting for your food. The quality food and friendly service keeps me coming back. There is a reason Double D’s continues to be voted best steakhouse. Keep up the good work Debbie and everyone else who is part of the amazing team that makes Double D’s great.

Just went for the first time. The food was fabulous and the service was great. This is not fast dining as you are served many food courses which included warm fresh mini bread loaf, antipasto plate, ravioli, soup and salad. I had the chicken picatta which is served with the best rissoto I've ever had. Husband devoured the best steak he's had in a while. I recommend Double D's to all and look forward to return visits.
We have never been disappoint in a meal here. But last night took things to a whole new level !!! The halibut covered in crab with gnocchi was out of this world!!! My wife is still ranting about it as she eats the leftovers for breakfast! Absolutely love the place.
Steaks are amazing, cooked just right, seasoned well... on point !! The soup lacked flavor, salad mostly carrots but if you want an amazing steak without leaving town this is the place, in fact it could be a destination dinner !! Great wait staff !
Very very good. Nice atmosphere. Very friendly and accommodating staff. We ordered and included was antipasto, soup salad and ravioli. And bread. Then our entree. Very tastes. Filet mignon very good. Seafood fettuccine deliscious. Mac and cheese very tasty. Recommend highly.
Our family has been multiple times and it's been great every time. If you go in a big group and it's busy, be kind to those serving you. The staff is always great and we've never been disappointed in anything.
Ribeye 🥩 is one of the best steaks I have ever had. The bartender James is awesome. He knows what customer service is and he knows how to make great drinks. Awesome job Double D.
I've been here more times than I can count, and literally had the BEST filet tonight..cooked to perfection. Despite being slammed with business, all the staff were friendly and attentive in addition to the food being fantastic and live music to boot. Thanks DD, you're definitely the best spot in town!
Great staff. Come hungry because they feed you plenty. You get bread, an antipasto plate, ravioli, soup and salad all before your entree comes. Will return again next trip to Fortuna.
Amazing.. from the time we walked in until the time we left! The atmosphere was perfect, the bar tender was awesome.. drinks were on spot & the food was incredible! We will definitely be going back!
Yummy, the ribeye and prime rib where cooked perfect, melt in your mouth perfect. By the time you get through the ravioli, the carrot and celery plate the soup the salad your full and have to take your meal home with you. They should turn it around and serve the steak and then serve all the other stuff after. Anyway, the service was okay, not the best, but it was really busy. Inside is super loud at times. If you really want to eat, make a reservation. There is a bar you can get served in, too. 100 bucks for 2 and 2 16oz steaks and alot of food for the price well worth it.
Wonderful steakhouse at Fortuna. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. Restroom is clean. Staff is nice. There are plenty of free parking nearby. Be prepared to eat a lot of food. Our group ordered many different types os steaks. They were juiced and delicious. Once you order a steak you need to select a soup, a salad and a side. All these were great too. In addition to the above, they also provide fresh warm bread, butter and a plate of cheese, salami and vegetables. I highly recommend this place.

What a wonderful discovery! Like a mid-century supper club, in the very best sense. Great service, congenially accommodating our plans to share several dishes. The food and atmosphere were excellent too. Can’t wait to go back!
Hands down the best steakhouse in the area and reasonably priced. Employees were very welcoming and friendly. Ordered the Bacon Blue Steak minus the blue and it was amazing. Steak was full of flavor. Lots of food. There was a large party ahead of me but even as big as it was the wait for my meal wasn't bad. Will be stopping again if I come back on the area for work
When four middle aged men (Yes Ben, you’re middle aged) roll up on a place called Double D Steak it’s kinda a universal rule we have to stop.

I’ve eaten at this place two times for special occasions. Never disappointed. Quaint nice bar and a lovely dining room. Reservations highly recommended.
May seem costly but good value for your dollars. Always take leftovers enough for the next day when your order the dinner entrees. Can’t wait to try more of their menu items!
The service was spectacular. Taylor quickly made me comfortable for a first time visit as a solo diner (traveling home), asking more than once if I needed anything and was quick to make a problem right. The service team as worked together to ckear tables and greet guests. I was pleasantly surprised by all the meal additions, antipasti, fresh bread (great), and ravioli, in addition to salad and the entree. While small, the Yukon gold potato was a perfectly cooked side to the star on the plate. I'll be back.
Dinner and atmosphere was great. Very enjoyable experience. Dinner was fabulous. Definitely will be back. The chef is awesome and the food is delicious. Totally worth the experience.

Amazing food, amazing taste for an amazing price. We were passing through and this was the only restaurant, but good thing it was. If you can, don't hesitate to try it. Everything was delicious.

We had jalapeños shrimp and filet mignon steak. The steak was super delicious. It was melting in the mouth. The shrimp was a little bit salty, but tolerable. They brought fresh bread with butter, soup and salad for appetizers. We love this restaurant.
Great food, great service, nice atmosphere, hard to beat. Double D is perfect for date night or a family outing. It's not cheap, but you certainly get what you pay for. All the food was perfectly prepared and the multi-course meal was well timed.
My absolute favorite restaurant the food and service is always amazing . I only took one star away due to the fact that I normally have to alert one of the staff we would like a seat or wait a long time for bar staff to tell them. Once you are seated it will be amazing. I have zero complaints about this amazing restaurant and staff
