Galveston Restaurant & Cafe

Now I love fish but, don't care at all for "catfish" BUT Oh MY !!! the Catfish is the best I have ever eaten. my 3 kids don't eat fish at all don't even like the smell , My friend Tommie told me about this restaurant. I order my food over the phone took me about 15 mins to get there. when I got there they handed me my bag of food right when I came in the door. the order I made over the phone was catfish dinner which included 2 large catfish, fries and small salad. The kids got burgers and Chicken tenders, their order was placed in the restaurant , while waiting on the kids food we set and waited. I decided to try my fish dinner , the fish was so HOT and FRESH! I mean very hot! that I had to take small pieces at a time hot with bread it was till hot . so Good! the kids watched me as I picked at my hot fresh fish, they asked me for my fries that came with my dinner, I happily gave them my fries since their food was not ready . me , still picking on my fish. the 3 kids finished the fries. Now 1 of them is now looking at my fish. Yes she ,,, the no fish eater is asked for a small piece .. I gave it to her.. the other two frown when she put it in her mouth . her eyes lit up and she said loud "it's good" she asked for another piece I reluctantly gave her more , then the 4 year old asked for a small piece , Yes he like it as well. before the kids food was ready, those 3 kids and myself finish off 1 of my pieces of fish. I had to close up my dinner, and told them they had to eat what they ordered, the other fish was mine. once home they ate what they order , Hamburger was great still not better than the catfish. Chicken tenders well, was just tenders nothing special . In the end the 3 kids are wanting to go back for the fish. I live on the other side of Denton about 1 hr 15 drive from the location. do you think I will be going back there for fish? Yes ! I'll be there this monday for lunch, hang around in ft worth with my sister and before I head home I and the kids will be stopping in Galveston for dinner . I love love love this place ,, oh yes the employees are awesome!! the place is clean.. even if they double the price I would come back ,, maybe not as often but I would still be there.. you'll see if you ever try it you will remember my review... And when you go tell them that "Onion " sent you . ok . take it easy .
