The gizzards, livers, & chicken tenders were seasoned and fried perfectly with just the right amount of crunch!!! The fries were crunchy with just the right amount of salt. The okra was seasoned perfectly and I could eat it all day every day. The price was perfect especially if you're a balla on a budget!!! The chicken tenders even tasted good the next day heated up in the air fryer. I don't like gravy and I was watching my carbs so I can't comment on the gravy or roll.
Order was filled quickly. Food was fresh. Hot. Good portions for price. Instant mashed potatoes. Package style white gravy. Ordered the 5 piece tender meal with corn on the cob. The corn was tender. Definitely pick up salt and pepper. The tenders were well made. Nice crunch. Tender and nice portion sizes. Bread roll was soft, fresh and slightly warm. All in all would return. Strange little shop. Looks like a seedy liquor store with a chicken store inside. Ample amount of chicken made for lunch rush as we were at the beginning of it. Looked great. All cooked to the same level of goldenness. May be a local "franchise or chain". Many locations on the map. Will have to look at photos of other locations. If you like chicken, it's tasty.
Lisa's chicken is phenomenal. Fresh chicken at an amazing price. I wish there was one a little closer to me so I could eat it more often. Everything fried tastes great. Egg rolls. Okra. Chicken. Burritos. Depends on which Lisa's you go to but they all have great food.
You guys know that person who's always been part of your life but most people ignore them? But they're always there for you consistently time after time any moment you need a specific type of comfort? That's Lisa's Chicken. The service is always swift and the food never let's you down.
I love this restaurant! They have a decently varied menu from chicken, catfish, pizza pockets, eggrolls and more. They have generous portions at inexpensive prices and most importantly the food tastes great! I would recommend to anyone that wants a quick, filling meal that won't hurt your wallet.
Oh good grief, one star because of the fly in a cup of ice. That is something that can and does happen no matter where you go. Fortunately other reviews lets you know this is a good place to go for good pretty quick meal for a good price. And I will agree. I've been to 3 different Lisas and each has it's merits good and bad, but the food has been consistent with each. Remember, it's not a 5 star restaurant so don't expect 5 star surroundings.
The "BEST" food in Fort Worth. The chicken is better the Chicken Express and the sides are the bomb. Also they have catfish that is always wonderful and burrito that are just priced right but are the best even the next day. But most of all the fries are the "BOMB" . You don't just good food but if you are broke and have only 5 dollars left you can get food and a drink there and be totally satisfied. The best locations are the 28th street both of them and the little one off of Beach in Hurst. Try them for a quick dinner or family dinner. You will always be happy while you enjoy it , we have for 24 years.
All is usually good. Friendly through the drive thru. Fish was a little too salted.
A bit of a pain in the butt to navigate the drive thru, but that's by no reason not to go... Best meal deal in town! Both the fried chicken and the fried catfish are the fantastic, best anywhere around.. KFC and Popeye's can keep their $7 meal deals - I'll get better (and more) at Lisa's.
