Freebirds World Burrito

I have picked up here for deliveries and I’m also a customer. About 98% of the time the employees are welcoming and quickly help to serve their customers. The other 2% is when I wait for the estimated time of pick-up before I go in and the employees are just standing there talking because it’s slow. Which that’s fine if they don’t have any delivery orders to prep. But there have been times where I provide a pre-paid customers name and they look for the printed order, turnaround and say to me, “we’re still working on it”, just for them to proceed and start prepping the order they didn’t know they had. This is not a frequent issue, but it does happen. As a customer, the food has always been really good and will continue to be a customer.

Today had already been a rough day as it was. So when my husband and I got home with our food, and mine was missing I was pretty irritated. I thought to myself figures given the day I have had! My husband called to ask if they still had it set aside. They did and we could have had it refunded but I really wanted my quesadilla. We decided to take my husbands food back with us, and dine in so his food wouldn’t be cold and gross when we got back home again. I went straight to the table as I didn’t want my poor attitude to be projected onto others. So why the five stars you ask. When I opened the bag there was a sweet little note apologizing for the situation. Which honestly put a smile on my face. My mood changed after seeing that. I thought it was such a nice gesture. Not only that, but the manager was very nice to my husband. He did way more then we expected to make everything right, and we didn’t even have to ask. Thank you for turning my frown upside down! :-)

I was hesitant to try this new restaurant out, but I would say that it was well worth it! First let me start by saying I worked in a restaurant for over 15 years in my younger days, so I’m not the easiest of customers! Honestly this is the BEST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD! She was absolutely amazing!! Knew all of the items ingredients, & if she didn’t she went to ask. The appetizer Ahi Tuna was wonderfully flavored. I would have liked it to pan seared but it wasn’t. I ordered the FreshLime Seasoned Salmon with a side of Lobster Fondu. The fondu made this plate over the top! The steamed veggies were so soft but slightly crunchy which was great as well! But let me tell you! If you like Au Gratin Potatoes…….oh boy you don’t want to miss these! Lastly, I ordered the Crème Brûlée cheesecake and it was average. The texture was on point,but the flavor was a little bland. I also just for tasting purposes 😉 ordered the Lemon 5 Layer Cake 🍰 to go. Let me say this was pure delicacy! It was served with a real blueberry 🫐topping that was phenomenal! I must say even if I wasn’t hungry I would order the appetizer and desserts to go! You won’t want to pass those up! Enjoy!❤️

Honestly, this place was great. I love the people here; they were so kind. Especially the person who was wearing the green Harley-Davidson shirt. Just by far exceptional service. Give that lady a raise. She knew how to roll a burrito, it felt as if the pressure from my shoulders had been lifted. The food tasted great. The brisket just slapped. I would be here again for the food or just for the personnel.

Surprisingly it’s gotten really affordable given other restaurants jacking up prices these days. For food quality I give it - 5 stars. Service however is 3 stars. They are more interested in fulfillment of online orders over people in the restaurant. Also dunno if it’s tenure of employees but the burritos made a slightly messy. Will be back but hope they improve the service so I can adjust to 5 stars in the future.
