The 4 stars are for the Chef. Food was excellent. He helped us more than our waitress, who we had to keep asking for drinks, silverware and napkins. The other waitress was washing dishes and kept getting us wet. But still, the food was the best.
Love me some waffle house and this one is busy!! Sat at the bar to avoid waiting for a table--my son loves sitting up there. The cooks seem to be clean and using all the right equipment, hair-covering, constantly changing into new sanitary gloves. Food was prompt and delicious.
Unique atmosphere. This place is mostly about the food. Service was polite and attentive, but this is a fairly busy, small place. They get you in, feed you quick, and don't necessarily expect you to hang out forever. Still, it's very inexpensive and still delicious. Will definitely go back.
