New Grand Buffet

This place leaves something to be desired. When we sat down I immediately noticed how dirty and un kept this place is.. The salt shakers are filthy, blinds filthy and overall everything had a film of uncleanliness and screams bad cleaning practices. It leaves one to wonder what standards they are keeping in the kitchen. I'm affraid to even ask. It was freezing inside the restaurant. Its 37 degrees outside and coming outside felt no different than being inside. They had 2 huge, tall standing heaters meant for outdoors. Not nearly enough to warm the place. I was shivering and my food was getting cold quickly. Getting on to the food. I dressed these plates with the purpose of showing you what they had to offer. My placement on the plates makes it look more appetizing than it really is. I wasnt bold enough to take photos at the buffet bar but I could tell they were reusing food from the previous day. I usually check this by picking things like egg rolls. For example: Grab 3 or 4 egg rolls and you can see that one will be chewing and not crunchy (days old) wh I'll let the one next to it was crunchy and fresh from today. This practice is used to hide the fact that they are using food that was cooked and stored for another day. Service was non existent for us. Which in a Buffett really all they need to do is make sure your cups are filled and this was really not happening. I like to be completely fair and say what they are doing right when they are doing it right. Even if the food is bad I'll rave about the service and vice versa. This place hits neither points. If cleanliness matters to you- stay away If fresh food matters to you-stay away If good service matters to you- stay away Nothing happened here for me to be upset or angry with them I am simply giving a rating on what I saw and ate. This place is lacking good ownership and leadership and it shows. Really concerned about the cleanliness of this kitchen. They should be ashamed to take money from their customers. Sorry not sorry. Side note: Restrooms were absolutley disgusting. Revolting really.

It is a decent place to have Chinese food . Food taste much better compare to other buffer in the area . we used to eat here 4 times a week when we were still live in Fort Worth . After we moved, we can only come here once a week . Love this restaurant. It is our favorite Chinese buffet in Fort Worth .

Not 1 thing was fresh. Every food item was room temp and tasted old. Bathrooms are Retched Wall near restroom falling over and not attached to floor. Even the ice cream machine tasted as I'd they have mixed hot cocoa mix with ice cream and everything is so cheap. The best part was the bottled beers we had. Will not come back again. Nasty.

FINALLY went out of business. Finally! I was there the night they were CHEERING that the TV said they were going to close for 2 weeks. Last time I was there they had CNN blasting in the dining room so they could remain fully informed with the propaganda. Sign on the door says they can get the key to the new locks if they pay their rent. GOOD RIDDANCE! I guess why you shouldn't have liberals "running" your company!

Please read other reviews before visiting. We assumed it was going to be a good place bc we usually see a good amount of cars but I regret not looking at the reviews. Place is really out of shape, very outdated and the staff just doesn't care. The lady bringing us our drinks had a cough and kept rubbing her nose without washing her hands afterwards. We didn't drink anything. We went to get food and there was so much food missing so we waited to see if by the second round they would add more food but nope. Some food had other food in it that people would drop when serving themselves and no one would remove the contaminated tray. Please look at the reviews before even thinking about coming to thes place.

Not the best Asian buffet I’ve been to. The best was the hibachi food!! Many ingredients to chose from and was flavorful. You could tell that a lot of the food was sitting out for a while. Egg rolls were a bit disappointing. And they can really work on their cleanliness. Most likely will not be returning.

25 bucks for 2 is a bit over priced for the selections available and my visit was approximately 45 minutes and in the time I noticed only 1 food isle was tended to and only 2 small servings of food was addressed on his visit. Some of the food was looking on the past throw out limit while some looked good. I'm giving the visit a 4 due to lack of attending of isles and extended time of food not being tended to. Service ladies was good. Drinks were kept up with and plates removed in Timely manner. The dining are was kept up with and restrooms in fair condition. The place did have a Mongolian grill for fresh cookable foods. Also had sushi bar and the sushi was not tended to the entire time of my visit. I do not eat raw foods but I'm thinking the sushi isle should be tended to a bit more then it was. My thought as I paid was of the price being equally to the Golden coral across the street that I do not visit anymore due to its lack of proper service and over priced foods as well. But at Golden Coral you have larger selections of foods and usually always tended too. New Grand Buffet was OK for its location and this is the best it had going for the place. Location. Over then this is have to say other folks visits might be better and possibly worse buy upon my next visit to eat on that side of town I'm thinking it will be better researched.
