Augie's Sunset Cafe

Cool spot on the water. Despite it being a scorcher outside, the setup was nice. Live music, standard bar food although I was given a box of nachos that were soggy as soon as we dipped into them. Waitress was very nice and tried her best to take care of our big table during a busy night. Give them a shot

While the actual restaurant and bar are on land, the staff and owner run a tight ship. I've noticed anyone is welcome aboard to join in on the good times but when people start causing problems they will ask them to leave albeit not by walking the plank but that would up the entertainment value the infrequent times they do. The fishing off the dock is just that. . Fishing. If you caught something every cast they would have to start calling it catching. If you're in the area, give them a try, a few of your dollars and enjoy the beautiful sunsets that happen every day.

Augie’s always hits the spot. With a couple of cold drinks, good music, fantastic food and service, you’re never disappointed at Augie’s. When it’s busy, the food can take awhile, but that’s the price to pay for freshly cooked food. It’s not fast food waiting around for people to come by. But being made to order is one of the things that’s special about this place. Always feels like home.

Great little dive bar tucked in the corner of Eagle Mountain Lake. The servers are always friendly and the prices are pretty reasonable. Food is decent, good variety of drinks. Not sure how much lake traffic there is in the summer, but a floating dock for boats and pwc’s to easily pull up to would be a huge improvement. I come out on the lake sometimes in my friends boat and we would definitely stop by for some food and drinks if they had a lakeside “takeout” window. Overall, pretty decent place but looks a little rough. Tables could use a light sanding and fresh coat of paint, but that’s just me being picky. Come for the food, stay for the drinks and views. You won’t be disappointed.
