Los Paisanos Restaurante

I've bern on a small mission to find a good taco and enchiladas that remind me of the places I ate at in Chicago! I think I've found it! And it close to where I live...right outside the stockyards area. I got the lunch special chicken enchiladas with sour cream sauce (comes with rice n refried beans...bland) and 4 corn shell tacos (2 chicken, 1 barbacoa, 1 beef fajita) Even with the blandness of the rice n refried beans the rest of my meal(s) was sooooo good...I was trying to swing my legs and hum...*the prices are reasonable and I'm cheap) I got my food to go but there is seating. And it's clean...plastic covering on colorful tablecloths. Booths and tables. I will go back...yessss I'm going back!

The food here is the closest you’ll get to real authentic Mexican food. The ladies that work there are super sweet especially the owner or manager not sure but she’s so sweet. The chips are fresh and warm and the salsa is hot! But so good! Your nose will definitely drip! My favorite dish they have I must say is their chicken sour cream cheese enchiladas they are seriously the best I’ve ever had. The aguas frescas very sweet and yummy and their tacos are delish!

Their menu is huge! They make just about everything here! And their food is so good! We tried their churros for dessert and it comes with ice cream, it definitely hit the spot! The waitress and the lady at the register were super friendly and they treated us like family. I’ve lived in north side my whole life and barely decided to give this place a try. I am so happy we did because it definitely did not disappoint!
