Review Americado - Fort Worth

Love it. I tried it when they first opened, and went again yesterday for birthday drinks. They've definitely made minor changes that I think made a great difference. The waiters now help you when you sit in the outdoor patio, so you don't have to go order yourself inside. They also perfected the cucumber margarita! Service was a little slow, but the food was worth it. Definitely going back!

Word of mouth brought me here and I can definitely say that Americado did not disappoint at all. Came here during their Happy Hour ($2 off margaritas, $1.50 off cocktails and $1 off beers) and was surprised at how truly fresh and flavorful everything tasted (I highly recommend the Quesadilla De Tinga and Fish Tacos). I liked the unique way they have the stations set up and ordering your food; it works perfectly for tapas style or for sharing in a smaller group of people. Overall I really enjoyed my first experience here and can confidently say I'll be back here soon. I'm extremely excited to see where Americado goes and what they end up doing in the future. PS: The tortillas are insane good and are alone worth a trip here

Great food, great staff, great concept. Got intrigued by the sound of flavored Jamaica but tasted not too different than the regular stuff to me. Looking forward to trying more items on the menu but loved every single dish I've had so far.

This is by far our new favorite taco joint in Fort Worth. They offer fantastic tacos, fresh guacamole and great drinks! The street corn here is the best I've had! Great atmosphere with outdoor seating as well as an area for kids to run and play down the hill and grassy area.

Had a great time! DJ inside, folklórico dancers and yoga outside. This place is awesome! Food and drinks were also tasty.

Food Hall with Mexican food, ramen, bbq, coffee, and tacos! The bbq is by Brix BBQ and is among the best in town!

Food is really great and interesting. Both the regular and brunch menus have a wide variety of delicious and freshly made options. Staff is friendly and attentive. Only 4 stars, because no coffee available for brunch and music too loud for Sunday AM!

Good food for an okay price. Great hip atmosphere and good drinks. If you want good food in a nice new place then this is a good place to go. Service was good. No complaints This place deserves to be on W7 but it happens to be on Berry. A tad pricey for what you get but it is a nice new clean place with good food.

Tasty, reasonable price. Indoor and outdoor eating. Food was tasty.

Great atmosphere and good variety of Latin music playing. The staff are very friendly and prompt when a request for something is made. The food is pretty good and drinks are equally as good. My family and I would often stop in just to hang out and catch a drink and throw in some chips and salsa at times. It's very convenient for us as well as our Cycle/Barre studio where we go is right above them. (Check them out!) They have a huge yard and patio furniture to eat outside when the temps are good. The yard has a couple of old used tires that kids can play with to keep them busy while adults visit which is cool. The food pricing could be a buck or two less though, but I can live with it enough since their drink specials are good.

Americado is a lovely restaurant. It's a new favorite for myself and my wife. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food arrives quickly and tastes really good. My favorite dish is the taco platter: choose 4 tacos from seven selections for $10 (as of this writing). They are a step up from your average street tacos. The ambiance is also very inviting whether you like bar seating, table seating, or patio seating (there's an open area for your kids to run around while you keep eating and talking with your friends). All-in-all, I highly encourage you to try it out!

We went back for their re-opening on 11/9 and were very pleased with their food and service! They re-vamped the menu to include some "tex-mex" items that more people would like, while still sticking with their interior-Mexico style items. Their specialty drinks were also delicious (They have Happy Hour from 5-7)! Food came out quick and was delicious! Our server made sure to check on us to make sure we were pleased with the entire experience. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough, I'm so happy they were able to re-open!

We were looking for a new place to have our daughters 18th birthday and we found a great place here at Americado !!! The service was great ! Food was wonderful!! And menu had some very delicious sounding tacos to make you want to come back again . the weather was a little chilly but the out side patio and back area for games looked like so much fun once again I give this place 5 stars

We had heard about multiple improvements at Americado and wanted to support a local restaurant. We stopped by for brunch on Sunday December 10th. I got the torta de huevos, my wife breakfast tacos and the kids eggs/bacon/pancakes. The first thing we noticed was my order, my wife's order and both our boys got the same scrambled eggs, that didn't appear to be actual fresh eggs, but more like a fast food version that is poured from a container. The menu mentioned my torta would have two fried eggs, but it only had a smear of this bland egg mixture and a TON of lettuce. I would call this is a lettuce hamburger. The ham also appeared to be taken out of a package of lunch meat - thin and watery. The bun was a hamburger bun that needed to be eaten with a knife and fork because the egg mixture soaked through - again the same quality bun you would expect at a fast food restaurant. My wife's tacos were served on corn tortillas even though she was given a choice and picked the flour. The egg mixture was bland and had a few diced up veggies added to it. Even the salsa was just blah with absolutely no spice. We were really disappointed, especially after spending $60 on our food. I wouldn't recommend the Torta or breakfast tacos. The kids did enjoy their pancakes, bacon and egg mixture.

Great food, family friendly, and pet friendly. We had Mother’s Day brunch at Americado with family and a dog on the patio, and we all had a delicious meal. We enjoyed the food and appreciated the good service. We’ll definitely be back.

Excellent space for the whole family! Lots of area for the kids to run, luscious patio space for parents to sit a relax (and drink lovely cucumber margaritas!!)

Great food, friendly staff. I was surprised by the appearance my chilaquiles as I have only had Texmex in the past and these are authentically prepared. They were delicious!! We will definitely return. Can not wait for patio weather!!

Americado was phenomenal! My husband and I stopped in on our way from running an errand and dropping a kiddo of at an activity as a spur of the moment lunch date. We had a margarita and the mariachi drink, chips and salsa ( the green salsa is on point), the Chi chi taco, the fish taco, Mexican corn, a "hamburger", and churros!! Everything was cooked perfectly, food and drinks came out fast and staff was very friendly and helpful. We will be back really soon!

Good food. Good drinks. Good people. Good times. I have attended 2 of Randi Frances’ art classes at Americado and had a great experience each time. My favorites so far are the taco salad and frozen cucumber drink. Yum. I’ll be back and bringing more friends and family!

Americado is a gem! SO thankful for a place where my husband and I can have a yummy cucumber margarita and some awesome tacos al pastor while our son runs around in the field and does some drive-by eating! It is a win-win for the whole family! The service is amazing too!

Dropped by happenstance, and absolutely fell in love with the food, service and atmosphere! Definitely a must try if you’re in the area! The owner was a doll and everything she recommended was absolutely amazing.

Great food with healthy options. I love it! The atmosphere was very down to earth and the staff are amazing!

Patio is beautiful but unfortunately the food is not great. The chips, salsa, and queso were not bad, but the rest of the food our large party ordered was mediocre at best. We won’t be back.

First time trying because I was offered free churros with my meal because it was my birthday. I have to say I was super elated! The champignon street tacos were super tasty! The churros were definitely a bonus not because they were super sugary, but they also had arequipe(dulce de leche) inside of them. Best birthday treat I’ve ever had!

The food has been outstanding the three times I have been there. Last night I tried the delivery option (Open Door??) - & was very pleased with the results! Food arrived warm & the Delivery young man was very polite!!

Definitely some of the best al pastor tacos we have had outside of Mexico! Better than most of the taquerias we venture to in the area. We go back just for those. Sad that they got rid of the enfrijoladas (my previous favorite!) and many other menu items after reopening, though.
