Review Mesero - Fort Worth

Clearfork is an upscale area with some very expensive restaurants and shops. And while Mesero can be as expensive as other restaurants in the area, it actually has delicious options for those of us on a budget. For example, a traditional dish of two cheese enchiladas, black beans (refried are available if you prefer), a slaw and rice is about $16 (Combination #1). Combination #5 (one cheese enchilada, brisket taco, rice and beans is a similar price). if you’re wondering why go here for meals served at other restaurants, it is for the quality of the food combined with excellent service in a beautiful environment - the whole package! For example, the chips arrive with three delicious sauces to explore, the cheese enchiladas are filled with flavor and even the rice had a wonderful light seasoning that was distinctive. In short, they have traditional foods with a higher level of quality of preparation. The ambiance can vary depending on when you go. My introduction was an hour before closing in the middle of the week. It was perfect for a date or quiet conversation between friends. Friday at lunch, however, was packed! Great for groups and people celebrating. I haven’t t gone for breakfast yet but look forward to tasting even more perfectly seasoned food!

This location is levels ahead of the Plano location. The food has always been good. Service and management have been top notch. Great drinks, reasonable price. Chicken stuffed jalapeños are always a highlight. 3 different styles of salsa (which they need to serve in bowls and not ramekins. Haven’t been disappointed anytime I’ve eaten here.

This high level of quality and service are what I would expect from a restaurant in Clearfork. The food, drinks and service were all excellent, making this a top level experience. On top of an impressive selection of tequilas and whiskey, they had a very robust food menu with several different types of food options including seafood and vegetarian options. We will definitely be back!

I've been to this Mesero location a bunch now. It's always a hit with my in-laws who can tend to be picky. This location is gorgeous and large enough to accommodate the whole family. And bonus, they have vegetarian options.

we had a round of Palomas, great drink, everything was perfect, ceviche, Cinco leches cake, the sauces on our enchiladas, the beans all perfect. The carrot cake was good but a bit in the dry side, it needed either more oil in the mixture or a good slather of frosting. Overall great experience Update, have been several times and this place never disappoints, great food and service every time, the stewed pork is a hit

Quick seating on a busy weekend night. Small table. Food was nicely presented. Lots of birthdays with a traveling sombrero. Interesting complimentary dips.

Great food, great atmosphere, great place all around! Staff was very knowledgeable and checked in often. The Ceviche appetizer is a "must-try" for starters, perfect combination of shrimp, avocado and perfectly marinated. The fajitas were very tender and again perfectly seasoned. Definitely a 5 star, will be back soon!

We went for lunch- The margaritas were pretty good, food was delicious with great portion sizes. Fair prices for what you get and a neat ambiance. Would recommend! Update 9/3/2022: we try to go every weekend now. My 18 month and 8 year old love it and the red fish/salmon dishes are absolutely delicious. The El santo margarita is a must!

Great food and pet friendly. Always great service. The Nachos Tejanos looked like a work of art....didn't even want to eat it, but glad I did. The Cinco (yes Cinco, not Tres) Leches Cake was out of this world.

This place was on point! In an era where quality and restaurant know-how are a fading commodity, Mesero's really does impress. The service was timely, professional and able to recommend the best items on the menu. The food was exquisite, but the drinks were better. I highly recommend the Margarita Flight and their Old Fashioned. 5 of 5.

The food it’s ok, not the best Mexican food I’ve tried but the atmosphere and service are good.

From the management to the staff and beyond, we had one of the best experiences we’ve ever had anywhere. Kenia was an awesome and attentive server, and the manager Luis Castillo was really the nicest and accommodating manager I’ve ever encountered. We will be back. Seven of my friends went to Mesero the exact same day all because of my review of the restaurant on social media, and they all had great experiences.

My 21year old daughter and I had a lunch date here last week, and it was amazing. There was absolutely no wait to get seated in a lovely c shaped booth. The atmosphere and music were top notch. We were excited to read over the menu and both chose from the combination items. I chose a chicken mole enchilada, Carne asada taco and substitutedfor verde rice. It was combo #1 listed below. Combinacione 1. oaxaquena enchilada, asada taco, mesero slaw, arroz blanco In which was like a cheese and beef enchilada with Rojo rice, we ordered a side of elotes and queso. Also tried refreshing raspberry drink with St. Germaine, vodka, and citrus followed with Cinco leches cake. We go for lunch generally weekly and this place was her favorite meal out. The leftovers were still enjoyable at home too. Can't wait to go back.

Stick to the tacos and enchiladas! Their food is great but some stuff falls flat like this dish. Unfortunately I forgot what its called but it does have grits. Their tacos and enchiladas are delicious though. Their service and atmosphere are perfect both for lunch and dinner. Request only the green salsa when they bring out the chips, the other ones taste like they are from a can!

Had a business lunch at Mesero Clearfork and we really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The staff was great and the food was awesome. The owner even came by to say hi! I highly recommend you check out Mesero. 😋

I ordered the breakfast tacos for brunch and it was delicious. Tried the fresa water and it was pretty sweet. But the mango water was on point. Also the French toast are great!!! Definitely coming back with the family.

Drinks were great, ambiance was enjoyable, the food was better than average Tex-Mex... we had reservations and were a little surprised at being seated in the bar area when the dining room wasn't even half full. Another group near us insisted on being moved for that same reason. The waitress was good, but seemed a little thin spread... we will return and request better seating.

This may have been only my fifth visit but the people at mesero treat me like family already! I always have something different because I don't want to get stuck in a rut and order the same thing each time and I promise, everything I've had, is just as delicious as the last plate. From the history of what I ordered there, I remember the mole is especially good but so is a pork tenderloin in a chipotle sauce and this last time I had the number 3 combination which includes a shrimp taco and enchilada... That was all very delicious. The management staff at mesero are like my cousins or Primos. I would easily give them a 5 anytime of the day any week.

Loved the food...fresh pico was yummy on the quesadillas, and the tortillas were really light! Can’t go wrong with the Ranch Water...thanks for the extra little bit of “love”!

A friend and I stopped in on a whim, looking for something delicious and quiet. The main dining room is lovely but loud so we sat on the patio. We ordered appetizers, drinks, a main each and a side to share. Each of us was super impressed with the food, everything was cooked to perfection, the drinks were really delicious and the portions were more than adequate. The only thing we didn’t really enjoy was our side but that’s ok, we were stuffed and maybe a bit unsure about what to expect. The service was nice but unremarkable. That is not a dig, I like when a waiter is not all over us, let us eat, let us talk, be aware of if we need refills but remain in the background of my eating experience. So for my needs it was a perfect dining experience! I will absolutely be back!!

Pro: Awesome Drinks. Great Cinco Leche cake. Cons: Mediocre food at best. Poor service. I was here for my birthday, Sunday. Dined with 9 people. While making our orders, we tried to tell the waitress how to separate the bill. She proceeds to tell us that it all has to be on one bill but she would be able to use multiple credit cards. So fine, we ordered. The bill comes out and she tells us that the bill would be divided equally on the separate credit cards?!?! That would mean that my single friend would pay the same amount as my family of three with multiple meals, appetizers, drinks and cake...in what world does this make any sense? Needless to say, we had to call the manager over for this non-sense and it was finally corrected. I've been wanting to try this place for months and I was totally let down on my freaking birthday. �
