This is the best Campisi’s that I have been to. I jave been to the downtown Dallas location, Lovers Lane location, the very first location in East Dallas and now Fort Worth. The ambiance at Fort Worth is the best. The food was excellent and Jeremiah was very personable and attentive. Will definitely be back and definitely recommend to all.
I had the bruschetta and lasagna with marinara.
Service and food was completely satisfactory. The environment was nice and mellow. My diet consist of being plant based and they had options even accomadated by changing up an option on the menu. Will definitely visit again when in the area.
Sometimes you can't go by what the rating is. You have to say, "You know what? I'm going against the flow and I'm going to try this place. Look at all the people here!" That's what I did. I've gone to the Original Campisi's, (The Egyptian) on Mockingbird in Dallas a few years ago and I liked them a lot. I really like thick crust pizzas, but occasionally a thinner crust one hits the spot. There's less carbs yet big flavor.
I ordered the medium Chicken Spinach Alfredo Pizza. It is an oval shaped pizza, not really square, and in this case was a 10" x 14". Besides those toppings it had smoked provolone cheese. The small pizzas are 6" x10" and I didn't think that was going to do it for me today, because all I had this morning was one apricot (1 1/2" diameter). (The large pizza is 12" x 16.) That and an iced tea was all that I was going to need.
I was seated on a barstool at a small raised table right in front of a big screen TV tuned to the Texas Rangers game. The digs are really nice, calm easy lighting, even for afternoon and soft chatter of patrons at nearby tables. There is also outside seating in front of Campisi's, and there were a few people sitting there when I arrived and upon leaving. The backlit bar was beautiful. Several people were having their lunch at the bar watching the game.
In less than fifteen minutes my pizza was up, and I couldn't wait to bite into it. This pizza was good. The grilled chicken was a great foil to the smooth, smoky provolone cheese. The cheese was warm--a stringy, gooey mess. The spinach with it's grassy flavor was perfect in its inclusion on the crispy, thin crust. I should've saved some to take home. Nah!!
If I were in a hurry, I could say service was a little slow. But I wasn't. I got a refill on my tea. That's all I needed. My server brought the check and I gave her my credit card simultaneously, and it was only five minutes later that I was out of there.
Campisi's is a nice change of pace. Business seems to be doing great--at least for lunch, so they apparently have a lot of fans. If you haven't tried them yet, please do!
Better than I expected. I'm a fan of the original Egyptian location but was not impressed by their previous fort worth venture on I20. The pizza was as perfect as its always been and we have had great service each trip. Its not quite as dark as the original location but still retains a lot of the feel of mockingbird while updating the decor to fit the locale. I'll be back as much as possible!
If you are in the mood for great Italian food, great service with a light atmosphere, stop on by Campisi's. The Pasta Combo Plate is a great sample of what they have. Great taste hot, and fast service. I have been here for about 15 minutes, and the waitress has come by 5 times as well as the manager to make sure things are good. I'm going to add this to my favorites. Well worth the 25-minute drive to get here!!! The Italian Creme cake for desert was the perfect end to the dinner journey!
Good food. The sampler and the chicken parmeson were good. They are covered in tomato sauce and cheese. The meet balls appetizer was also good. Staff was friendly, and Sunday night wasn't busy. Good atmosphere, leans towards to upscale.
Ordered dinner for work and I was pleased. The chicken marsala, garlic, cheese bread and artichoke hearts were very tasty. ❤️❤️
When we arrived we were told there was a 30 min wait ( with 6 empty table) due to kitchen being backed up. When we finally got seated, our waiter Jesse was awesome. He got drinks, bread, orders and salads out right away. He was attentive, fast, correct orders. Overall made up for the long wait! Salad and bread were excellent. Entre was good but not great. Husband ordered a spicy dish, but had no spice at all just the usual pink sauce like my dish that was not supposed to be spicy, maybe because they were in a rush from the back up.

Very short staffed. But the food is amazing ...
Makes up for it. Awesome array of food . Pizza ..pasta .. lasagna .. bruschetta.. baked artichokes.. cakes. And more .. thank you!
My guy and I were absolutely blown away by Campisi’s. We went here on a whim yesterday and the outside is completely unassuming for the experience you get inside. The ambiance was phenomenal, a full bar, a nice dark and moody setting, candlelight, the decor was super cozy but still lots of space. This place sets the bar for how a restaurant should feel. I felt so welcome here. Now the food? Also phenomenal. The pink sauce has this kiss of heat to it, the chicken was tender as can be and not a spot of grissle. The red sauce was so fresh tasting like they just went and picked the tomatoes to make it before serving us. The bread has the perfect crust and is soft as pillow inside. I can’t recommend this experience enough. This is ideal for a romantic date night or sharing a pizza while watching the big game over a beer. The drink menu goes on and on- you just can’t go wrong with Campisi’s!
Was a great little place. Went for a school fundraiser. Nice to see a place still supporting school fundraisers. Started with the artichoke hearts. Offered a fantastic smell and was pretty good. The kids had pizza and the Alfredo fettuccine. Was really amazed at the pizza. Perfectly cooked with a wonderfully crispy crust. Alfredo was good as well. Main course was the combo platter and the eggplant Primavera. Both were fantastic! Waitress suggested a bottle of wine to accompany dinner. Excellent choice. Monday and Tuesday are half price bottles of wine so worth a visit. Plan on going and trying this place several more times.
First time at Campisi's. The restaurant was quite dark and loud. The service was great. I ordered the Pasta Combo Dinner with red sauce and Alfredo. The salad was overly cheesy and oniony, Alfredo seemed more like a white sauce and the lasagna and spaghetti were drenched in sauce. The restaurant was full so maybe I just got an off plate...
Great service and delicious food. The cheese bread was amazing. Tuesdays is $8.95 spaghetti and 1/2 price wine. Nice atmosphere and the Italian creme cake was as good as Eatzi.
Went to the Camp Bowie Fort Worth Location fantastic experience here just as in Dallas. Waiters working their tails off and still honest great service while busy. Crab Claws and Pizza. Grew up with it, drove in from Houston for business lunch and Campisis just never disappoints.
