Uncle Julio's Mexican Restaurant

This was my first visit to a Uncle Julio's. The service was PHENOMENAL - wish I had his name to give kudos! We got tableside guacamole to share as our meal. The chips and salsa were good and my daughter talked about how good the Dr Pepper was and she doesn't like fountain drinks! My only complaint was the booth seemed worn out as far as the cushion (it was kinda flat) and the table sat too close to the booth. They really had 1 too many booths in that space. It was quiet enough to hear each other and the temp inside was great as well.

The 1st Ranch water ordered was anything but. The color was clear and tasted like straight liquor. The wife Ordered bacon wrapped shrimp appetizers they never came till the end after much back and forth. A few other issues I will not bore anybody with. Completely different experience then last time or recently visited locations in Oklahoma. We also let the manager know because he came by and asked. And tho cordial he did absolutely nothing to turn the evening around or get our server some help. Update!!!! I recently a prompt response from Steve as well Robert and we are pleased with their response and concern. First class all the way. Thanks we will be back.

Our server was a little difficult to work with, but he improved by end of meal. Manager is top notch, very accommodating for our food allergies. Food was delicious. Husband enjoyed his fajitas. I left with a cheese coma, after my cheese enchilada plate. Kids meal was very nice and more than enough for a little tummy. The place was clean and not overly crowded. The menu has changed, since my last visit. It is a more welcoming menu and streamline. Try the pickled cabbage!

We had a great dinner! We loved the classy look of the nice water glasses and appetizer plates awaiting you at the table. Our server, Trevor, was very professional and attentive. We ordered the tableside guacamole and queso with ground beef appetizers(really my 'meal'). Everything came out quicky and accurately. My husband ordered the barbacoa fajitas. We were impressed with the amount of meat that came with the fajitas. Everything tasted great, and we were definitely full! Trevor was kind enough to get me to-go bowls for my salsa, queso, guacamole, and even a bag of to-go chips. We will be back- keep up this kind of great service!

The people here were amazing. At least 5 people talked to us after we sat down. 2 offered water and 3 offered fresh chips. Service was absolutely what you want in a restaurant. Such a great team of people. The food on the other hand was ok. Just ok. The highlight of the meal was the hatch green Chile sauce I had on the enchiladas. Everything else was “meh.” Thanks to the service though. Amazing service.

We went for my wife's birthday. We started with the table made guacamole which was great. We both had enchiladas and then finished with the pinata. All the food was very tasty and my wife loved cracking the pinata open. All the staff was friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend for anyone who is looking for great atmosphere and food.
