This place has been a staple for me. There food is all ways consistent that means the world to me. The price are no jacked up super high like a lot of places are doing these days. Food is perfect. Service is perfect there are direct and to the point and let you enjoy your company you are with. Atmosphere is matching the food and culture. This is a must try place! Parking is limited.

Was once a fave of ours. It's been 20 yrs since we last went and I was disappointed to find out that they only have unsweetened tea. 😖 Nachos with beans were good. Cheese enchiladas had red sauce that was super spicy. They kindly brought me another without the sauce. And the Caldo de res was really salty. I forgot to take pictures. Sorry

Another hidden gem, right on Main Street! We started with the queso appetizer, it's pretty solid and meant to sandwich inside the fresh tortillas. I had a lunch plate with beef enchiladas and taco, rice, and beans. Wow, it was delicious. The chips are fresh, and kinda thick. The salsa is very hot. Highly recommended!!

The Milanesa is divine!!!! No gristle, tender, and seasoned well. Beans so so good! Please though, consider offering at least one complimentary chips and salsa charge for extra serving. My friend had liver and onions and they loved it too.

We love this Northside mainstay we've visited off and in for years. I won't attempt to explain, but I am obsessed with their calf liver and onions dish and never order anything else there. The salsa is tangy and pica (boring salsa is always a deal-breaker for me). The dining room is small, but the staff hovers close by and is far above average in service and friendliness.

The Food is Amazing! Customer service is always great. Wonderful atmosphere the HotChips and sauce is Amazing!!

Limited parking but the food is excellent and the service is good, this establishment is 40 years in the Fort Worth Stockyards area with the same flavor and one of the servers Isias ..... A+ service

The fajitas were really good! They were really friendly and I had a cold beer that made my day.

Hyper-local Mexican place in the heart of Fort Worth, TX. Walk in and you'll see a pic of President Bush and his Wife eating at Los Asaderos, so you know it's special. Order anything from the unique menu and you'll be overwhelmed at the flavors. I know I was!
I love mole and noticed they offered it, so I had to have the enchiladas mole. It was great! Everyone enjoyed the food and service. Our server really took care of us. Making sure my father-in-law is taken care of can be a chore, but our server never blinked an eye. We were a larger party but this server stood tall to the very end.
Next time I'm in Fort Worth, I'm going to go back!

We were looking for an authentic place to eat when visiting Ft. Worth and this was a true hole in the wall with great service, large portions, friendly staff, just the right amount of kick to the salsa, chips were fresh (not salty), and the drinks were served in mason jars (large) which was truly a nice touch. Overall price - was $10-12 for fantastic, fresh ingredients. Loved it and recommend.

This is the best Mexican Food dive in the city. Don't expect anything high-end. This is merely amazing food. I particularly am fond of the enchiladas or anything with their special sauce. Recommend.

I forgot to take a before picture. 🤣 it’s was good by the way.

Listen. THIS is my spot for Mexican food. The menudo is wonderful. The chips and salsa is banging. Real and authentic cuisine.

My dad and I have been eating here for over 20 years. It's family owned and operated. It's not as flashy and publicized as some other restaurants in the area but the food is WONDERFUL. Everything is authentic and flavorful. The atmosphere is very family friendly and home-like. I've eaten several items from the menu and have never been disappointed.

First time trying this place with family who were in town and we were not disappointed. My husband and I have been in this area for over 3 years and came across this restaurant because Joe T Garcia was closed. Thank God they were because this is a hidden gem. Chips and salsa are very good.

Great little place for good food. We were pleasantly surprised with small complimentary fideo soup. Really good.

Usually we have a great experience at this place- not so Saturday night. We waited forever to get our drinks , waited to order, waited for our food that came out separately and then never got refills on our tea , even after we asked for it. Never got our check so we went up and just paid. The food was good and very consistent , service was worse than normal .

Menudo perfected. We live in Arlington and can't find good hole in the wall Mexican food. growing up in San Antonio we crave this. El Asadero offers Menudo 7 days a week, they have perfected this culturally appreciated dish.

BEST MEXICAN FOOD EVER!!!. I have been coming here for 15 years if not more and I have to say it is my favorite place when it comes to Mexican Food! The hot sauce is outstanding and spicy. Very addicting!!! The food is the "real" mexican food and taste so great! It is much better than the mexican food chain restaurants. Hole-in-the-wall places are usually the best anyway as far as good tasting food :) And wow does this place ever prove that!!!
If you haven't tried it yet. You're missing out! Go there today :)

Great food all around tasty & cheap. Better than most around here on same level as Joe T half the price. Lunch menu is very inexpensive anything beef fajita variations wonderful. Small so could have t wait for a seat. Come early for lunch always fills up.

Mole Sauce/Salsa. What a GREAT place!!! Outstanding salsa, mole sauce and tamales!!!
Popped in while in town briefly (having read good reviews) and loved it!!!
Returned two days later before leaving town...

Great backup if you don't want to wait at another north side Mexican food place. Service is not great but food is very good. Salsa is very spicy and addictive. Mole is awesome and a rare find. More interesting choices than the typical Tex Mex.

New Mgt wrecks El Asadero. I had been to El Asadero under the old management and found the restaurant to have awesome food and the service was very good. My wife and I went back and the store was under new management and man did it show. We never got waited on. The wait staff, now in TCU-like purple shirts, were running around like they were lost. The food was NOT good and we were so disappointed.
When it came time to leave we could have just walked out because no one even noticed us. No one came with a check. No one asked how our experience was. This place basically now sucks.
A famous chef once said that people come for the food but people come back for the service. Neither reason exists at this place.

On are visit we were not attended right away bad service a couple came in and they were not attended so they left food not so good.

We went here when we found it on Urbanspoon. We trusted the 90% rating and reviews. It was fantastic food.

Another nice surprise. I have heard good things about El Asadero for a while now. But, I never remembered to try it when I had the time (and was nearby).. Well, yesterday, I made a point of going out and trying somewhere new and El Asadero ended up being that place.

When you walk in, the place looks small. (It is.) I initially thought "they can probably only seat 30 people or so in here MAX.) Well, I eventually did a quick count and they can cram more in there than that. But, it is NOT a big restaurant. But, don't let that keep you away.

After looking over the menu, I decided to try something "different" (for me) at this new (to me) place. I got the Beba's Special. Flame broiled fish fillet, a shrimp kabob (shrimp only, no other veggies on the kabob), one HUGE fried shrimp, a stuffed crab, avocado, and other assorted 'salad' veggies.

The tea I ordered came out in a big Mason jar, which I liked. I use big Mason jars at home, too. :) I will say that the temperatures of the different food items could've been regulated a little better. The stuffed crab seemed considerably warmer than the other food items..... and I ate it last. But, everything was still reasonably hot, seasoned well, and tasted good. So, I won't hold that against them. I did come in at an 'off' time..

The salsa is good, with more of a green tint to it. It had a nice flavor. I suspected that it might be even better if it had been warm. The tortillas (I had corn) were either made on site or locally acquired.. The chips..? They were good. They were the thicker restaurant style chips, but seemed plenty fresh and went well with the salsa.

Will I go back? Yes. Will I try to introduce people to this place? Yes. Was it worth the drive? Yes. If this place were on southside instead of just south of the Stockyards, would I drive across town for it? Perhaps.. But, it being so close to home will make it a convenient go-to place for me. :)

Best Mexican food period. Great family owned and operated restaurant offering authentic food. Have been frequenting this restaurant since the early 80s when it was on East Lancaster in Fort Worth. The Milanesa, chuleton and green enchiladas are off the charts. Salsa is not for the faint of heart but hands down the best in DFW.

Best Tex- Mex in Fort Worth HANDS DOWN!!. I can't believe I have not written a review about this place yet. I and my wife go at least once a week. This is by far the best Mexican eatery in Fort Worth. The prices are excellant and the food is fresh and always HOT and tasty. They have the best salsa(QUITE HOT AT TIMES) but very good, and the chips are always fresh when brought to your table. Large glass's of tea in mason jars helps keep you cool, and they have an assortment of beers, rita's, and wine for your dining pleasure. I would suggest the Enchilada's Poblomo, Fijita's, or any of the enchilada platters. My wife always gets the Chalupa Platter. We useally eat for lest than $20.00 total, including tip(cheese enchilada's, chalupa platter & two teas). Check it out, you will not be dissapointed.

Tell tale clues. You know a Mexican restaurant is authentic when it's frequented by Mexicans. Their queso asadero is simply the best!

The best authentic Mexican food in town. Great salsa, great fahitas, great service , ice cold beer, family owned and operated. Have been eating there weekly for 14 years.

Real Authentic!. YUM! I love this place although my friend wasn't impressed, I thought the salsa and tamales were YUM!!! No frozen margaritas though - what a shame

The food was fantastic! I highly recommend this place! Parking is scarce but the walk was worth it

The real deal. This is authentic tex-mex - English is definitely the minority language here - if they say something is hot, they're serious - close your eyes and point to the menu - you can't go wrong

A real hole in the wall, but Ye Gods the food! I especially recommend the beef fajitas, which are always seasoned perfectly. Never a bad experience after going there for years.

Muy Rico! Check it out. If you've been looking for a good, authentic Mexican restaurant - this is the place. They serve a great salsa and delicious soup to get you started. I really enjoyed my beef liver and my friends enjoyed their plates as well. They have both traditional and more exotic options too. I can't wait to go back! The only downside is that the parking situation is a little dicey.
Chad
Real Mexican food. You must try the Milanesa! Damn good!

The salsa has a quite a kick and the iced tea is strong and dark. That's how I like my salsa and tea.
Bobby Bryce
Awesome place! We have been going there for years. The service is great, the food is awesome and authentic. I recommend the Carne Guisada, it's the best I've ever had. Their mole is awesome too. It's not uncommon for Mariachis to stroll in and play some music on the weekends.
Donna
The atmosphere was amazing. The service was friendly and fast. The tamales are incredible and their special and verde sauces are great. I would recommend that everyone try this place.
Fort Worth Hole In The Wall
My favorite restaurants have always been dirty. Dirty mexican food. Dirty chinese food. Dirty hamburger joints. I know there is a risk of dying every time I eat at these places. But for under $10, I'm willing to take that gamble. I have finally found my d
