Review Sushi Tao - Fort Worth

We went to Sushi Tao because of the ratings and they did not disappoint! I ordered chicken teriyaki and my husband ordered beef fried rice. Also, the California and shrimp temporal roll were on point 👍👍

Very small portions for the price. Interior is nice. Staff was friendly enough. Don't think I'll come back. Wasabi Sushi is bigger portions, but they were closed today. I paid $32.43 before tip and left not feeling full. The portions are just too small.

Went here with a large group of co-workers. The staff was ON TOP OF IT! Showed kindness to children, quick with the food, and very polite! An all around good experience. Cowboy Roll was my choice. Spicy!

Really good place, cozy, small and great food. We’re always in the hunt for good sushi and this place was a hit! The clear mushroom soup was perfect for the winter weather!

Love this place. It’s our go-to spot when we are craving sushi. The staff is great, food is always fresh and the inside is quiet and never overly busy. It’s not your typical upscale, overpriced sushi spot. I always leave very happy! Our favorite rolls are: Mimosa, shrimp tempura, Rainbow, and any of the tuna rolls. Based on my experience, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

I have lived in this area for years and this my first time eating here and I cannot believe what I have been missing out on! The interior so intimate and cozy, the curtains blockout the sunlight and it is just you and the chef hand making every single sushi order to the the tune of soft jazz in the background. I had the sushi lunch, 5 California rolls and 5 of the best cuts the chef picks for that day, I sat in tranquility as he prepared my food as the soft music filled the air. When the food reached my table it was displayed beautifully and each bite melted in my mouth, the waitress was very attentive, constantly refilling my drink and looking after everyone. To all who drive past everyday, you simply must stop by and give them a try.

This was our second time here, and we were worried that it might be busy on a Saturday night - we were seated right away! The food came out quickly and it was absolutely fantastic. Favorite sushi spot around!

Place is great! The food was so good! I started with the edamame for an app and got the udon noodle soup. Came packed with noodles, veggies, egg, and chicken. On the side it comes with two tempera shrimp. This is easily one of my favorite meals and this place might make it the best! Small cozy place for great food.

The food and experience is amazing. I have been eating here every week for over 6 years and have never had a bad experience. The staff is so incredibly welcoming and friendly. And the sushi is the freshest of any place I have ever tried. For other reviewers- it is rude, disrespectful, and an invasion of privacy to take a picture of another customer and post it on a review without their knowledge especially if they did nothing to cause your dining experience to be less than stellar. Don’t post pictures of customers!

Don’t judge a book by it’s cover! Decided to come here and try out a couple of their sushi platters. By far some of the best rolls I’ve tried although I wish the portion size would be considerably larger but that is just how good they are! Just means I’ll have to go back for more!

I have been obsessed with this restaurant!!! They are ALWAYS welcoming every time we come. They have a dish that I just can’t get past…..it’s the FREEDOM sushi rolls. These are EXCELLENT and the presentation of everything they fix is outstanding!

Our favorite local sushi restaurant! Staff is always welcoming and so helpful, attentive and friendly. The owner/manager always asks about me if she doesn't see me with my husband. The sushi quality is top notch. I feel so comfortable with the freshness, quality and handling of the raw fish, this is the only place I come. The price is middle of the road $$ and for the quality and quantity I feel it's well worth the expense to treat yourself. We always leave either a late lunch or dinner stuffed and happy after an appetizer, a couple rolls each, a few sushi orders for me, a shared desert and beers and tea to wash it all down! We've also done take-out and delivery. Highly recommend Sushi Tao! Love this place!

It has been years since I have eaten at Sushi Tao. Wow, my husband and I were beyond impressed with the food. In addition the service was impeccable on a rather busy night. The shishito pepper appetizer was amazing, our salad and miso soup was on point and most of all the sushi rolls tasted fresh!!! Had a lot of flavor and was not dry at all. This will be our go to place when we want sushi. I highly recommend! ☺️

The service and atmosphere makes you feel one of a kind. We have been coming here for 20+ years and always have a great experience. If you are looking for a nice getaway from all the loud noise downtown you've found the place to go!

Excellent food! We tried the volcano, mimosa and tiger rolls, would recommend any of them. Staff is also incredibly friendly and attentive.

Ordered sashimi & sushi boat for two $48.95. Love that the rice is thinly layered. Unfortunately, so were the accompanied fish. The sashimi slices were thicker, but alas, the cut was small. Staff professionally and quickly delivered our food & drinks. Hot tea $2.95. Plum wine $7.50.
