Shaw's Patio Bar & Grill

I really liked this place. We were working close by and just drove around a little and found this quaint place. Parking is limited behind the Restaurant so mostly walk ins from street parking. Lunch seemed slow but service was very good. Most of the lunch seemed to be burgers or grilled chicken and stuff but we got burgers. The price seems a little high but the baskets come with several choices. I don't recall them all but fries and rings were there. Everyone in our party got a beef burger and onion rings. The rings were good. Not a beer batter but not breading either. It was a batter and it stood up to the test. Seemed to be made in house. The burgers, again we all agreed they were very good. Not a huge patty but it was done. No pink nor was it over done. It was also thick enough to know you had some meet on the bun. The service was good, then again not super busy but we got there early on purpose. We would go back, it was good. One of the better burgers out there people. I have better but they cost a lot more too. highly recommend.

The burgers are great, moist and the brioche buns are the perfect touch. Everyone was so kind. Our waitress brought our pooch a bowl of water before even greeting us, which I loved. Perfect spot with plenty of room on the porch for dinning with your fur babies and socialising. Their wings were tasty, cheese sticks were spicy and great. We will definitely be returning.

Came in around 11ish and when I say that the atmosphere was perfect I mean it. Not crowded at all. Delicious food and 3 dollar mimosas! The service was great as well.. if looking for a good brunch spot do not hesitate to stop at Shaw's. No telling how many people pass this place daily not knowing it's a hidden gem.

First time going here. Celebrated my birthday there Friday night. I had made a reservation online for a party of 13 and there was some technology issue that caused it not to show up on their end. Ty was wonderful and got us a table as soon as possible. Ty went above and beyond to make sure I had a great birthday experience. Our server was super friendly and attentive. We did karaoke and the DJ was so much fun! Drinks were great. Appetizers were delicious. Definitely recommend this place.

It is enjoyable to support this Texas Wesleyan University Alumni run business. The fried green beans were tasty and a huge portion. The cheeseburger and the Big Tex burger were great! And the Big Tex did have a good kick of heat! The Greek salad with added chicken was excellent. Flavor of the chicken was good, it was served cold on top of the salad. The salad dressing was served on the side. I can’t wait to come back and listen to some bands while eating.

We were traveling through the area with our dog and needed somewhere to eat. This was the top recommendation to allow our four legged family member on their patio. I called to make sure they'd have a table for 5 and a dog. Informed them we'd be there about 9:45 pm. When we got there we were seated quickly but then informed the kitchen closed at 10 pm. So we had to rush looking at the menu and ordering (not easy with 3 kids). Food was good though. Just wish they would of told us the kitchen closed at 10 when I called even though their hours are until midnight. Over all we'd go again if in the area.

In looking for a new spot to try out in south Fort Worth, my friend and I agreed to try Shaw's, and what a great choice! It's been some time, so I can't recall whether we made it on time for happy hour, but I would have ordered the watermelon margarita nonetheless. We started off with the nachos as an appetizer, and they were generous with the toppings, which was well appreciated. She and I both got the cheeseburger with fries, and I from the sight alone I knew we were in for crispy and well-made crinkle fries. The burgers themselves were great, and even with the drinks and app, the price was still comfortable for all that we got. I'm due for a return soon, for sure!
