Review Mi Cocula Mexican Grill - Fort Worth

Went on a Wednesday night and it wasn't very crowded. Atmosphere is nice, service was absolutely spot on. Everyone there did a great job taking care of us. Both of our meals were delicious and perfectly cooked. Great, authentic Latin flavors. The drinks were also delicious and well crafted. Highly recommend!!

Perfect service every time! My daughter gets called "princess" and she is all smiles when we eat here. We always share a queso cup, a margarita, and the brisket tacos and it is exactly what we expect. So good! It is an alternative to the other bussling places, and to be honest better tasting.

It's been our "go-to" Mexican restaurant for several years. Always consistently delicious menu and terrific service. The venue is very comfortable and nicely appointed. Locally owned, which we appreciate. Great place!

Food was 4-star great, but the service was a solid 5 stars. We'll eat there again!

The food was very fresh. I ordered the grilled poblano stuffed with shredded chicken and ranchero sauce. My dish had so much flavor! The chicken was tender and moist and it was topped with a little spinach and mushrooms. I asked for veggies instead of rice and beans and the grilled vegetables were very delicious along with the side arugula salad. My son got fajitas and he said they were very tasty the chicken wasn't dried out. Their fajitas are not brought out on a sizzling plate like some resturants. His dish was plated with rice a black beans and he said it was very good exactly what he wanted. The service was excellent the atmosphere is very nice the salsa was tasty and the chips were fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant and I will definitely be back.

What a gem to discover during a conference! The server working the floor was incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable. We ordered several entrees and the guacamole, all of it was excellent. Drinks were great taste and price. Wonderful experience!

OUTSTANDING service. The food was so good! I ate the entire bowl of chips...I own it, OK! Kinda on the high side. Small menu, can accommodate vegetarian.

I had a late weekend lunch here and was pleasantly surprised by the freshness and quality of the food and cocktails. Generally, when kitchens are prepping for dinner the food can be rushed out, and have a left-over feel. Not so here. The service is understated and professional. The food was fantastic! The El Jefe margarita will not mess around, and it's not an overly sweet drink, it was truly el jefe. The prices may seem high post-pandemic, but they are well within a reasonable range considering the price of everything anymore. Highly recommend and would love to bring a huge family party here. Yum!

Amazing food and very friendly understanding staff.

We were there 6/27 around dinner time. It was our first time there and absolutely amazing top to bottom. Cleanliness, service and food absolutely perfect. We had never been here and were both distracted with an important call with 1 of 6 kids. But We loved every moment of it. Our server was absolutely wonderful, best I have had in forever! So incredibly professional and polite, we asked for suggestions and he knew every detail of his suggestion. Ha he was patient waiting for my husband to get off a call (normally we don't do that it is rude but kid at urgent care comes first even if they are 18). We have the fajitas and the beef was so perfectly done. Not that frozen chunk stuff from other places. Flavor was wonderful and when it was time to go we received the check in perfect timing. I have spent over 20 years in customer service and many of those years in food service. I honestly felt like never going out to eat again before coming here. Because service and food quality has dropped so dramatically all over the area. And I am tired of spending $100 to get horrible food and servers who seem to think they just have to show up and we throw money at them. We will definitely be back (with out the cell phones) Thank you so much and thank the entire back of the house as well for us. Because it takes a good team to pull off that much perfection.

Excellent food with everything (all the sauces and ) made from scratch. Both interior Mexico and Tex Mex options. I've been coming her for years and have tried everything on the menu Salsa and chips are addictive. Margarita is strong and smooth. Not inexpensive but worth it for the quality of food.

Thanks for the lovely dinner last weekend for a family celebration. It was perfect and David and Sarah’s suggestions on food and set up were much appreciated. The food was delicious, the service attentive, and a wonderful evening was had by all.

We had our salon Christmas party there last Sunday and it was awesome! Our servers and wait staff was awesome and the food was yummy!!!! So good! Love the chips and hot sauce and queso. We all had a blast and had a private room in the back. I totally recommend coming anytime for a party of just a meal with the family and friends!

Went last night, had the shrimp brochette, with grilled veggies. The dish was very well done and also included white rice and chara beans. In a Fort Worth market, flooded with TexMex places, this restaurant is definitely worth your time.

MiCocula Mexican Grill is the best Mexican restaurant in Fort Worth. The food is always fresh, healthy and is consistently good. We are seated promptly and our food always arrives at our table in a very timely manner. The Moreno Family is the best! They are so friendly and welcoming, they make you feel right at home. We fell in love with Mi Cocula Mexican Grill with our first visit and it is our go-to Mexican restaurant now. For us, Tuesdays are Mi Cocula day!

What a refreshing place! Interior is modern and stark but pleasant. Menu is extensive with Tex Mex but also more authentic dishes. While the Tex Mex was great -this place shines for dishes you cannot find elsewhere and done well. I had the Carnitas Sopes - very, very good - pork had great flavor and the black beans were a nice addition - the sope masa was great - just really well done. Good table salsa as well - similar to other Tex Mex places in mostly tomato but this has a tiny kick to it which helps. Service was fantastic - they were all so nice and helpful! Do yourself a favor - go - a great addition to the Fort Worth Mexican dining choices!

First time to eat there last night. The food was great. The staff was great. Margaritas were good. Loved the music they were paying and the atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back. Kind of reminded me of being back at The El Dorado Resort in the Riviera Maya in Mexico and the gourmet dining. Excellente!

Delicious! I got the chicken enchiladas and charro beans. The meal exceeded my expectations. This is definitely not your "typical" Mexican restaurant. My husband ordered the guisada, and when it came to the table we were both apprehensive as it did not resemble dishes he'd eaten elsewhere. But it was amazing! So good that I stole a few bites off his plate. Margaritas were also yummy and deceptively strong. We'll definitely be coming back.

This was our favorite go-to, but after the last two instances we have no plans on coming back. Both times we had the same server. Both times service was abysmal. Tonight, it took 25 minutes to get our drinks after ordering them, then an hour (after the 25 minutes) before our waitress came to say the food would be there shortly. The issue wouldn’t have been the time if she would have checked on us, given us refills, or apologized. I’m so disappointed. With an upset infant and an 8 year old, we went across the street to the taco cabana drive through where service was amazing. Walk across the street, ask for Chesney, and offer him a job. Oh, I still haven’t eaten, even the taco cabana, because of having to get the grouchy kids in bed. Seriously guys, work on your customer service.

Nice warm non-greasy chips. Great hot sauce. Great broth based tortilla soup, not the creme based kind. We Will definitely be back!!

The food was good and the service was very attentive

We visited this restaurant on Monday October 27th and I must say they have the most delicious food I have tasted in a long time. The staff was very helpful with the menu, the food was hot and good and the restaurant was newly remodeled and very nice. Definitely going back and soon.
