Amazing home-cooked feel-good food. Great prices and wonderful people. You can tell the staff genuinely care for everyone and that the food is made with love. The country-fried steak was delicious and their baked goods are something to write home about.

It's a good place to eat, gives a small town cafe feel every time. Service was amazing as always. The cinnamon rolls were top notch as they always have been.

Loved the amazing food, the cinnamon roll it was just amazing. We ordered some scrambled eggs with bacon, with a biscuit and gravy side... Very tasty and delicious. The small jukebox gives this place a very nice retro touch. Definitely recommended.

We came in around 2:30 for a late lunch on Sunday, 11/12/23. Greeter was so friendly and nice, we sat in a booth and there were only a few other diners, but as we sat down, the table near us got a basket of YUMMY looking fried jalapeños, and we asked what those were… we decided to get those, and they came with buttermilk ranch that was freshly made. Crunchy, and just enough heat. Very large portion, so we decided on the small “lunch size” of the CFS. I chose Okra & Mashed potatoes as my sides, and my husband got mashed potatoes and corn. His corn was sooo good. I know it’s just corn, but it was really really sweet, and not overly seasoned. Next time Im getting my own! Big ol’ Ice Teas to wash it down! Almost forgot, they gave us a basket of freshly baked yeast rolls with strawberry butter which came before the food. 😋 There is NO WAY you’ll have room for the monster cinnamon rolls so we packed them to go. I did take a pinch of mine, and am looking forward to enjoying the rest of it in the morning with coffee. Good as always! It was our server’s 73rd birthday, and she was headed to Bingo night down the road, and I hope she won big, she was SUPER sweet. Everyone was. Ginger would be proud of the staff, and we hope she’s doing okay. 🙏🏼The new owners have a great staff, many of whom have been there over 30 years! It’s the same ol’ Ginger Browns, with that feeling that you’re family. 🥰 Now for a NAP!!

Nise place, old jukeboxes were a nice touch. I had the chicken fried steak, a bit small but good.

I love food, and it was a lot. Good thing you are able to take it home. I was too scared to try the little jukebox by the table, in fear of it being too loud. The restroom is nice, single, so consider the time you take in there. If you ask for pickles with your burger, they will you give you a cup full of them. Ordered fried pickles as a entrée too, before knowing the size, and the basket was long, making about a half of the table. Very good waitresses and nice, the environment seemed lively, everyone was nice and I hope they have a good time serving people at this diner.

I was in the neighborhood and decided to stop in for breakfast. I ordered the Efe special. It was priced well. The meal included two eggs, hash browns or home fries, two pieces of bacon and one sausage patty or two sausage patties and a short stack. The customer service was welcoming and pleasant. I received prompt service. I will say the food left much to desire. The best item on the plate were the pancakes! May be the best I've had to date. They were moist, thick and fluffy with lots of butter.

Even without the amazing cinnamon rolls, this is a great place to eat. The service is always excellent because the staff takes care of you like you’re family. Prices are very reasonable and the portions are mighty. If you like down-home, country cafe cooking, this is the place! The rolls and cinnamon rolls are MUST try items for sure!

My parents had been taking me to Ginger Brown's since I was knee-high to a grasshopper. I had not been there since I was a teenager. We just moved to this neck of the woods and I wanted to go for my Birthday in honor of my Father(how I miss him) and to get one of those cinnamon rolls that I loved as a kiddo. Atmosphere: It felt like nothing had changed. The cookie jars, little jukebox players, very friendly staff! Loved feeling like I went back in time and was able to share a piece of my childhood memory with my better half! Service: Excellent! Our waitress was very sweet and personable. She stayed on top of drink refills and checking on us. Food: Coffee was really good, not bitter, hot, and fresh! The dinner rolls were very dense and doughy on the inside. Strawberry butter was yummy! I ordered a breakfast plate that had biscuits, hashbrowns, eggs, and a meat of choice covered in cheese and gravy. I paid to add another meat and let me tell you in was scrumptious! They did not skimp. It was not too much, and you got just the right ratio with each bite. My better half got a half soup and sandwich. Potato soup was very delicious! Sadly, her chicken salad sandwich seemed to have a lot of additions to the chicken salad that she was not expecting. She prefers a more simple chicken salad. You don't know if you do not try. The cinnamon roll had gotten a LOT smaller than when I was growing up. They used to be huge, but it was still yummy! Also, Thank you for paying towards my meal for my Birthday!

My chicken strips were very good but my Hubby's chicken fried steak was a little chewy/grizzly. The okra and beans were excellent especially with the hot relish they give you. Rolls and strawberry butter very good. Haven't tried the cinnamon rolls yet. You get a ton of food. We took home enough for another meal plus the rolls for breakfast. Service was perfect.
