Definitely an indulgent experience but in a very chill atmosphere. The food was top notch. I had a steak and it was perfectly cooked. The cut was high quality, it didn't have any tendons or gristle. I have to say the mac-n-cheese was not as cheesy as it could be, but you can tell that's hand made pasta! It is delicious no less.
I'm not a bourbon drinker, but what the chef drinks is a good drink.
Very pricey place, but well worth the money.
Our waiter, Brent, was excellent. Amazing service.
Wondering what's the next occasion I can use as an excuse to go again.

I really enjoyed my experience here, and will definitely be back. The menu and the flavors they present are memorably unique, and just "different" enough to get you interested. I may have had the best New York Strip I've ever had here... and I definitely had my mind blown by that date cake. Seriously... never would have thought I'd be touting date cake. Service is very friendly and professional, and the atmosphere is great. Wine? Of course, great selection!

We tried this place for the first time, and we'll definitely be back! The pasta is made in-house and served perfectly al dente. The apple cobbler was more like apple pie. It was served room temperature, which was the only disappointment of the evening (it was still delicious).

This is a 4.5 star place. Cool little joint near the ACU campus.
We all ordered something different pork chop, pizza and yes one person in our party ordered a salad. We de-friended him.
The beverages are good, no worries there. Jaydn is a great server.

Great food and great drinks. This is one of our favorite spots! Always have had very attentive staff. Note that parking can get a little tricky on busy nights, but there is ample amount of street parking.

It’s been a minute since we went for our anniversary in March 😅, but I wanted to make sure I wrote a review and shared pics! The atmosphere was so classy, and our waitress was amazing. The food was delicious from beginning to end. We came just for the bone marrow, but were so tickled that everything went so far above our expectations. This was perfect for our anniversary. It’s a bit pricey, but we thought it was well worth it and perfect for a special occasion.

We eat here almost every Friday. The whole experience is top notch. Service, food, and atmosphere are all some of the best you will find in the Fort Worth area.
Upon walking in, you will be greeted immediately and assuming you made reservations, you will be sat immediately, there won't be a wait. If for some reason, your table is not ready, Clay Pigeon has an awesome bar with great bartenders to help you with your short wait.
All the staff is incredibly attentive and they work together to give the diner a great experience. Most of the servers and staff have been with the company since the start.
If you are looking for the perfect dining experience in Fort Worth, this is the place.
Some of our favorite dishes are the Fish, Pasta, and duck. The fish and pasta dishes change almost weekly. If you haven't had duck and aren't sure you will like it, this is the place to order it. The duck is top notch!

Food was good. Service was excellent. We went on a Tuesday night to celebrate our anniversary. We had the marrow, which was great on the bread. Also had the pimento cheese croquettes (they came out teally fast). They were good. The sauce served with them was really good (and spicy). My wife had the house made pasta with shrimp, which was excellent. I had the duck breast. It was ok. It reminded me of pork tenderloin. The side of kale, sweet potatoes, apples, and onions with it was "meh." Sweet potatoes were undercooked and a little hard. Overall, pretty good. We had two teas, and our bill before tip was $112, so it's a little pricey. We parked about a half block away on the street, so it was pretty close.

Great experience at Clay Pigeon. The staff from start to finish did a fantastic job of showcasing their hospitality. The food offered elevated standard options they didn’t leave much to be desired. I’d recommend you check this place out when you want a great meal with an authentic hospitality experience.

Among the delightful selection of dishes, the succulent duck steals the show, with its complex and satisfying flavor profile. The short ribs, a close second, are a culinary triumph with their melt-in-your-mouth texture and unforgettable taste. A surprising highlight is the Chicken croquette, a dish that delivers a pleasantly unexpected burst of flavor. However, the true standout dessert is the fig cake - a heavenly concoction that defies all expectations with its exquisite taste and texture.
I would also like to raise a toast to the talented chefs who presides over the open kitchen, visible from many seats in the restaurant. Your skillful executions of each dish are truly note-worthy!

Ok,
The duck is probably the best thing on the menu. Short ribs are phenomenal coming in second. The Chicken croquette was a nice surprise. If they have the fig cake, GET IT. It’s not anything I ever imagined in the most positive way possible.
Cheers to the chef running the open kitchen of which you can observe from many seats in the restaurant.

Amazing experience, highly recommend!!! The ambiance in the restaurant is lively and inviting, perfect for a date night or a night out with friends or co-workers. The service was exceptional. We tried a variety of items on the menu and enjoyed everything. The sou chef made dinner recommendations and we were grateful for them, we had bone marrow, ricotta tarte, wedge and burrata salads to start. For dinner we had the fresh catch, grilled duck, pork chop and the chef recommended cut which was the meat along the spine, fantastic!

I went here for the first time last night on a date and let me tell you it was impeccable. We started with the mussels and while I’ve had mussels in marinara quite a bit it’s not often that I have mussels in a garlic sauce. I loved it and definitely wanted more. I also got the center cut ribeye which was so delicious. One of the better steaks I’ve had for the price. The atmosphere was also very nice. Our waitress Jessica was super helpful and was great at explaining things on the menu. She definitely helped us picked the right selections.

We spent our three year anniversary here and as first time guests... FOOD WAS AMAZING! We ordered the Bone Marrow as an appetizer and it was so juicy and tender. Tasted even better paired with the side bread. For our entrees, my boyfriend ordered the Pork Shank and I ordered the Duck. The pork was cooked perfectly nice and tender. Same for the duck as well, it didn't come out too chewy like most restaurants make it. Side dish - Brussels Sprouts; they were delicious too!! Lastly, we ordered the Pumpkin Bread Pudding and it was sooooo goood too!! I would definitely come back!

I’ll be honest here; I didn’t know what to expect going to the Clay Pigeon. It’s on a rather obscure part odd White Settlement plagued by the current construction and terrible road. I decided to take my significant other there and see what this place could muster. I was delightfully impressed.
The interior is beautiful Americana and the dress of most guests followed that. It was dim, but not too dark, and smelled great. Not overcrowded too.
The menu is short, but everything my partner and I had blew us away. The cheese board was very inclusive of a variety of cheeses and other peculiar tastes. The bread/toast is wonderfully flavorful too. I’d highly recommend this.
I had the duck filet my my entree and I must say, never having duck before, the Clay Pigeon has set the bar incredibly high. I truly mean that everything on my plate was wonderful. From the simply colorful carrot purée to the duck itself, everything satisfied.
The for dessert, we split the chocolate coffee thing. Once again, it was great. Not overly rich yet still a fulfilling dessert.
I’d recommend a reservation for this place. Great service and outstanding food too.

Quite a lovely evening with friends at a new place. Super laid back atmosphere but with a noticeably intense love and passion for food. Cocktails and wine were on point with a great selection by the mixologist on staff. If you like the regular fair of wine and spirits they do them well.
Food selection is simple yet diverse enough to cater to all types and levels of culinary experience. If you’re too
Scared to commit to something have everyone get something different to try new things. We did that and even though everything was different it was a symphony of flavors
with every bite. Salt, pepper and butter and maybe a light sauce are sometimes all you need to enhance what is already there. They accomplished that in the dishes we had tonight. Capped it off with lovely desserts and boy oh boy were they amazing. Definitely go for the Strawberry rhubarb tart or the Cinnamon roll bread pudding.
I must say...check the menu before you go. It’s exhausting to see other reviews calling this place expensive. You know what It’s exhausting for them to make everything fresh and from scratch at the butt crack of dawn but they do it here because they truly love food. Go to a chain restaurant if cheap and fast is what you want. These guys are legit about what they do and should be paid accordingly. Bravo to the team, the night was amazing. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Love this place! Fine dining in a comfortable atmosphere. Food is incredible. We recommend the bone marrow appetizer for starters. All the entree’s we’ve tried are great! Steak, fish, duck, pork chops are all great! Nice wine selection. Prices are a little more than average, but I think it’s well worth the quality, taste, atmosphere, and service you receive!Don’t let the parking scare you, they have free valet, just remember a tip for the valet guy! Doesn’t matter if you bring your Bentley or your ‘93 Camry, you can fit in here.

I had no expectations going into this place but they blew me away! My date and I loved it! The food was perfect and it all went together perfect. I loved the duck! The halibut was also amazing. I wanted to sample everything! The service was also superb! I loved the attention and the great recommendations. I think the ambiance of the whole place is just ok but I care about the food and service and they aced it! I now hope for consistency when I come back. I will be back! My new favorite restaurant. You have to go try this place out! It is well worth it!
