Review Billy Bob's Texas Restaurant - Fort Worth

Verena Aibel
Went as part of a large group for a private reception, bull riding contest, and then stayed for a great concert. Billy Bob’s has a bunch of food, drink, and shopping options. Plus a dance floor, of course! Once in the hall, live music concerts can be enjoyed (standing/dancing) throughout; section closest to the stage is keep for people with tickets (seated), probably not as fun. In walking distance to hotels, restaurants, more shopping, and the Stockyards.

Possibly my favorite establishment I've been to in the US. The atmosphere was fantastic. Everyone having a great time, drinking, dancing, playing games. The crowd is mixed ages and there's so much to see and do. It's kid friendly though if you're on the conservative side, it's worth noting some of the younger crowd were dressed in somewhat revealing clothing. If that doesn't bother you though, you'll have a blast! Drinks are reasonably priced and what you'd expect from a bar. We stayed for the bull riding which was super affordable at $6.00 per person. My only complaint is that it only went for about 20 minutes and I enjoyed it so much I wanted to see more! 😆 Next time I'm in Texas I'll be visiting again for sure!

I was very happy to have the ability to bring my younger teens to a real honky tonk to learn line dancing in person with others. They were very excited about going and getting this experience. I also felt very safe by taking them on ladies night when it was free for them. They are under 18 so I was pleased that they let them in (as long as they stay close to me). There was a lot of people and lots of fun! This establishment has many different activities and events going on at different times that you may have to pay for but not on this night for us.

Historic, must see landmark in the Fort Worth Stockyards. It's the largest honky tonk in the United States that's hosted some of the most iconic Country and Rock & Roll artists of all time!

It's a great place to visit we went to see Cody Jenkins . And it was awesome he's really down to earth. The only thing was we had tickets and I thought that he was going to play on the first stage where the dance floor was but he was on the Big stage down below. And by the time we realized it it was too late for us to go down there. But still an amazing time

Largest honky tonk in Texas. Huge! With tons and tons of stuff to do. Too much to list. Even more shops surrounding the venue. Fun fun fun! Line dancing, great music and games. They have bull you can get on that looks real and looks like it's kicking it's rear high in the air that you can take photos on. If you can't have fun here then I am sorry for you:)

Great atmosphere!! This place is huge! The food was so good. First time trying brisket tacos and they were perfect! Wishing we were able to stay for the music and bull riding.

Billy Bob’s, the epitome of honky-tonk charm in the heart of Stockyards, Dallas Fort Worth, is an absolute blast every time I visit. The lively atmosphere is the perfect backdrop for dancing and friendly pool games. Recently took my kids, and they had a blast too – a family-friendly gem in the heart of Texas fun! 🎶🤠 #BillyBobsDallas #HonkyTonkJoy

Awesome place to drink hang with friends watch some bull riding line dance etc. Went on a Thursday night and it was pretty busy getting busier around 10:00. Bull riding only on Fridays and Saturdays and they don’t have a mechanical bull. Band played and people line danced on the floor near. Drinks were strong, people were friendly overall a good time.

Wow! This Florida boy will be back! We were given tickets to the Billy Currington show but weren’t going to go cause my wife is not a fan (of C&W, not just Billy). He was great. The lead act was great. The fans were great. Even the bathrooms were clean! We got home at 1:30am and I’m nearly 60! I don’t drink and I don’t go to bars anymore (long story) but Billy Bob’s is more than just a bar - it’s a Texas Experience! If you’re looking for a fun night out; music, dancing, mechanical bull riding or even REAL BULL riding then Billy Bob’s is the place for you! They’ve got everything! My wife and I even had a slice of pizza! Oh, and they have non-alcoholic beer, too.

We went during the day, to check it out and I am glad we did the $3 cover was worth it. Not only was I refreshed by the amazing air conditioning but being able to see all the history the place holds was worth it.

Billy Bob's Texas is an exhilarating and iconic entertainment venue that embodies the spirit of the Lone Star State. As the world's largest honky-tonk, it offers an unforgettable experience for country music lovers and party enthusiasts. The massive dance floor, energetic live performances by renowned artists, and lively atmosphere make it a hotspot for music and entertainment. With multiple bars, a bull riding arena, and a vibrant crowd, Billy Bob's Texas guarantees a night filled with foot-stomping music, lively dancing, and an authentic Texan experience that will leave visitors with lasting memories of a truly legendary night out.

Love Billy Bob's! Attend the recent Texas Rangers Key to the City of Fort Worth event with my Grandson. My Grandson got to see History made.

I always love attending Billy Bobs, When i was there last i found the Blue prints and history behind the World's Largest Honkey Tonk. I'm the Nerdy Woman who does things of that Nature. lol. It really does need expansion and elevation the last time i was there with a friend. I discussed it. Similar to Texas Live concept with Levels and a wider dance floor. I love to Dance! I enjoy the fact that they do have 2 stages, one for the cover band and another seperate for the main performance. The line outside went fairly well in waiting time, even when i arrived just 30 mins prior to the Main Performer. Great Decisions for Great Performers Here majority of the time too! The staff there expressed to me that they were overworked and had been there all day. They need more help, Especially when it comes to the Big Star Performer Nights! The demand is so high the staff cannot keep up with the demand, i empathize with that. It's Homey, Humble, Traditional, with Walls of Impactable Memorbilia. Fiddles, Iconic Pieces! The Famous Cemented Star Hands and so much more! And if you want to leave after your event you can still, in walking distance, visit the stockyards. We did, and this was after Cadillac Caught on Fire. I did not take enough photos this time but i'm gonna go back to see Lainey Wilson soon. Will update more then. Stay Tuned!

One of the coolest places I’ve been — very exciting on weekends, and a must see if staying late in the Stockyards area!

We went to see Flatland Cavalry and had a pretty good time. We had table service and the server was attentive and friendly. The sound quality of the music was good. All in all a pretty good time. It's 18 and up so there were A LOT of minors there as well, so just be aware of that

We went to the country kitchen. I had the club sandwich and my husband had the blackened catfish poboy. Both were delicious. The fries were cold which was disappointing. The prices are what you would expect in a bar in a city. We also got the loaded tots with brisket which was amazing! Spend the $6 and see the bull riding if you have never seen it before. It is a true Texas experience. But line up to get tickets 40 mins before the show to make sure you get good seats. Shirts were way overpriced but they had other memorabilia that was more reasonable. Music was on point with lots of areas to sit and large dance floor. Wish we had honkey tonks in Virginia...because I miss two-stepping.

Wow! Huge place! We stopped in for a drink on a quiet Tuesday afternoon, and had a great time looking at all the celebrities’ handprints on the walls.

Billy Bob's has always been a Great venue to see a concert or just visit when you're in town. You won't be disappointed. It was a Packed house 7-1- 2023 for the Aaron Lewis concert. What a Great time we had.
