Pappasito's Cantina

Pros: The fajita steak is amazing. It's tender, flavorful, and some of the best beef I've ever had in a fajita. The chips and salsa were tasty. Our server was very attentive and friendly. Online reservations were easy, and we were seated promptly. Cons: The prices were staggering. This is definitely a special occasion restaurant for us. Our party of 8 agreed the salsa needed more salt, but that was easily remedied. We all agreed the fajita chicken had NO flavor and was definitely outshined by its beef counterpart.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pappasito's and indulging in their enchiladas. The dish arrived piping hot, perfectly plated, and was very tasty. I highly recommend Pappasito's for anyone craving authentic and flavorful Mexican cuisine. Their enchiladas were a standout dish, impressing me with their presentation, taste, and the attention to detail in their preparation. I will definitely be returning to Pappasito's to explore more of their menu offerings in the future.

Pros and cons. Please read thoroughly. First experience was going there after a rodeo. Horrible mistake. At first we didn't mind spending an hour standing at the bar drinking delicious margaritas. We finally got seated outside. Someone delivered yummy chips and salsa to us and then our server came out one time... Said she'd be back and 40 minutes later. Still no server. We finished the Margaritas we had already paid for and walked out. But we didn't give up... The next time we went there was a completely different experience. It was mid-afternoon on a Sunday. We only waited about 15 minutes. We were seated in booths and immediately got service. The food did take a while to come out but that was perfectly fine. Lots of cowboys and cowgirls there. Bright and vivid decor. I got up to go to the restroom and my purse accidentally dumped out on the floor. A cowboy got up from his table and helped me pick it up. Very sweet. I had my server buy him a drink and put it on my check. The food itself is what I would consider average good Mexican food. Nothing to write home about. But nothing bad either. There is a walk-up area to pick up food to go. Very convenient. Overall, the second experience erased the first experience. But I would definitely recommend NOT going if there's anything going on at the arena. That was our problem that first night. Just too many people. But they sure do know how to make a good margarita!

We hadn't been here in quite some time (I think it was because of all the road construction) but came in on a Sunday early afternoon recently. They were busy, but the service was excellent. I really enjoyed the food, and remembered it being good. I had shrimp brochettes and pork ribs this time. All was tender and perfectly cooked! 5 stars for Pappasito's Cantina this time. Food and service both really were excellent.
