Horseshoe Hill Cafe - Fort Worth - Photo album

I had been wanting to try the chicken fried steak at Horseshoe Hill Cafe in Fort Worth's historic Stock yards for a while and was not disappointed when I finally got around to it. We chose the Cowboy style, which was the most basic of their multiple chicken fried steak options, and it was great. The
Finally made it out to Horshoe Hill and geeeeze the CFS are huge!. We got the El Jefe which is 4 different steaks and then a house salad and the corn which I didn't get a pic of was delicious! Mashed potatoes and 7 layer dip appetizer were really good also
The staff is high energy and always smiling. Came in here on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. Cherie was extremely pleasant and gave us great menu guidance. The Cowboy Way country fried steak is good enough for two people. Grady, the owner, made sure that we were taking care of and had a great t
We had an excellent experience, and service. The food was absolutely to die for , the portions are large so you may want to consider sharing a plate or taking home leftovers because you won’t want to waste a bite!
Kitchen cooked up 2 "Calf fries" by special request for myself and a guest! The chicken fried steak with the cheese enchilada is a must! Be sure to also order the carrots - SO worth it! The whole meal was split between two people and was plenty! Great attentive staff. I will be returning!
Right hand to God, if I can die in this restaurant, please pour the gravy and queso into my mouthhole and slap on a chicken fried steak so it’s my last true meal. The food here is like a gift from baby Jesus on Easter . 12/10 would recommend.
I've been looking forward to eating at this place for quite some time - and wasn't disappointed! A great new addition to the Stockyards - proper cowboy food (I had chicken fried steak, obviously!) but done really well. A good range of twists on the CFS for those that want a bit of variety - and a ve
They say they have the best Chicken Fried Steak and THEY DO! My husband and I dined here for lunch today and were amazed. The chicken fried steak covers the plate and can be cut with a fork. We also ordered the Deep Fried Tamales and Seven Layer Dip with Chips. The food AND service were excellent!
Horseshoe Hill has some amazing food! They’re onion rings and biscuits provide some delicious appetizers, and the chicken fried steak is truly legendary! You can’t go wrong coming here if you want a truly phenomenal meal.
Ordered the Cowboy way and it was delicious. The portion sizes are really big, so you can order one and feed two people. Also had there queso, it was delicious! Service was great! Definitely will be going back here.
Quaint, intimate eatery with a good rating. I'm an out-of-towner, so I lean on Google ratings. This place deserves a higher rating than it's got. It's off the main drag, and 2 blocks up the hill. Not inaccessible, but also easy to overlook. Don't. Food was great, service solid & attentive. I say at
Arrived for late dinner and seated immediately. Cool, relaxed vibe with lots of taxidermy around to keep you company. Ordered the Lawsuit dip and the short rib tostadas. Both were so flavorful and good. The dip came out quickly and was warm and melty. The tostadas had a wonderful sauce that I kept g
Of course the CFS is wonderful, but equally great is the veggie plate, desserts, deviled eggs and the homemade biscuits.
Best chicken fried steak - guaranteed!!!!! There is nothing that will disappoint on the menu, however I am partial to the Chile relleno chicken fried steak!!!!
Phenomenal food and service. Great staff who are friendly and kind. You can also catch the owner Grady working and talking with guest. The food is awesome! I highly recommend it. Best chicken fried steak I have ever had. I can't wait to go back!
Best Chicken fired steak I have ever had. Great Texas food and love the rustic dining room. Great service.
Great atmosphere and food. Feels like home. Graddy and his staff were amazing. We will definitely be back. We got the chicken fried steak and the dr.pepper short ribs. Very delicious. My daughter loves the cowboy hat
We went here after the UNT graduation and had a party of 20. The service was excellent. And the food was phenomenal. Hands down the best chicken fried steak I’ve ever had.
