Finally made it out to Horshoe Hill and geeeeze the CFS are huge!. We got the El Jefe which is 4 different steaks and then a house salad and the corn which I didn't get a pic of was delicious! Mashed potatoes and 7 layer dip appetizer were really good also

We had an excellent experience, and service. The food was absolutely to die for , the portions are large so you may want to consider sharing a plate or taking home leftovers because you won’t want to waste a bite!

The chicken fried steak with the cheese enchilada is a must! Be sure to also order the carrots - SO worth it! The whole meal was split between two people and was plenty!

They say they have the best Chicken Fried Steak and THEY DO! My husband and I dined here for lunch today and were amazed. The chicken fried steak covers the plate and can be cut with a fork. We also ordered the Deep Fried Tamales and Seven Layer Dip with Chips. The food AND service were excellent!
Horseshoe Hill has some amazing food! They’re onion rings and biscuits provide some delicious appetizers, and the chicken fried steak is truly legendary! You can’t go wrong coming here if you want a truly phenomenal meal.
Ordered the Cowboy way and it was delicious. The portion sizes are really big, so you can order one and feed two people. Also had there queso, it was delicious! Service was great! Definitely will be going back here.
Quaint, intimate eatery with a good rating. I'm an out-of-towner, so I lean on Google ratings. This place deserves a higher rating than it's got. It's off the main drag, and 2 blocks up the hill. Not inaccessible, but also easy to overlook. Don't.

We went here after the UNT graduation and had a party of 20. The service was excellent. And the food was phenomenal. Hands down the best chicken fried steak I’ve ever had.
