The food was delicious, the wait staff was a little apprehensive when they saw us with a toddler and a baby. However, the manager came to check on us and was super nice! Definitely recommend if you love Italian food. We did spend $45 after ordering 1 appetizer, 1 pizza, and 4 ice teas. So make sure you bring enough cash!

Delicious italian food, I can just recommend the place! I had the most amazing pizza salamino and lemon cake here! The staff is really good, they are not wasting any time. There is a gluten free menu and lots of options are vegetarian. Thin and tasty pizza!! Thank you!

Moved to Fort Worth and was craving italian food. I typed in Best Italian near me into google and Taverna popped up. I perused the menu and saw they made one of my favorite dishes, spaghetti carbonara. So, I went there to eat and was impressed. I started with bruschetta which was freshly buttered. It was satisfying and not overwhelming. I ordered the carbonara and it came out with the perfect combination of creaminess and pepper. I will definitely frequent this restaurant for the carbonara alone! The pizza looked and smelled great as well. For a random Google search find, Taverna rivals the majority of italian restaurants I have been to in at least the recent past. Try it out!

Great wine selection, atmosphere and food. The seafood risotto was incredible! Love that they accommodated to our 6 year old even though there’s not a kids menu. Just a really nice restaurant for date night or even family night without spending a fortune. Highly recommend!

Incredible food! The antipasti was amazing, it was artichokes with cheese garlic breadcrumbs served with garlicky crusty bread! Chefs kiss good. The spaghetti and meatballs was tasty, the ravioli was good. The atmosphere was very nice, the service was lovely. I'd return!

Had the best time here. The specials are $2 small mimosas and $4 large 10-3 sat and sun for brunch. Happy hour 1-8 pm m-f. I had the taverna hash and it was AMAZING and my friend had the egg and polanto. We tried the spaghetti and meatballs and amazing as well. Ask for a side of toast with brunch. It’s toasted sourdough and it is awesome. Best service, best specials. The waiter even gave us advice about local events and things to do. 10/10 would reccomend to a friend.

This is a great place for happy hour because it runs until 8pm at the bar only. We have had all the pizza and the bruschetta. The drinks are good and reasonably priced. I had the bourbon barrel aged stout. I'm not sure if it's still on tap but if you like stouts it's a good one. The staff is friendly and the bar area is comfortable to sit in and still have a conversation.

The food was very good. Service was ok and the atmosphere pleasant. A little difficult finding parking, had to park a few blocks down and walk up. No big deal, just a fair warning.

The California is my favorite pizza at Taverna! Happy Hour M-F 1-8 means half price pizza and bellini comes in at $13. Excellent bargain, great atmosphere, delicious food and drinks. The best pizza in Fort Worth.

Taverna is by far the best food we've had while in Fort Worth. Luckily we stopped in by chance for brunch. I am amazed by the quality of each dish and the friendliness of the staff and the owner. Our waitress was happy to serve us and the owner came to check on us twice. This restaurant truly cares about crafting delicious food served with a smile. The chef's focaccia was perfect and paired so well with the in house marinara. I live 5 hours away, but I will definitely be driving back to eat dinner. I'll be singing their praises to everyone that will listen! The proof is in the marinara, Taverna offers quality food created by talented chefs in a friendly but upscale environment. Don't miss out on this gem.

Beautiful location and fabulous food. I have a mushroom allergy and the staff was more than accommodating. The drinks are a little pricy, so just a heads up. Expect to average $10-$14 a drink. I did try one that was just a little too boozy and they let me try something else, without charging me for the 1st one. Very nice service. Our server was quick to refill waters and take additional drink orders. I had a great first experience and I’m excited to go back.

Just wow! This place has Wonderful service, the owner absolutely loves feed back, very attentive, and makes you feel welcome. If you want delicious Italian food and brunch this is the place. The pizza crust was cooked to perfection, with a lovely texture. The sauce they have is apparently made in house I could most definitely taste the quality. Great atmosphere, professional wait staff. I just saw this place walking by and decided to try, I am not disappointed I'm the least and will be coming back next time I'm in Fort worth.

Never Disappointed...Real European Style...I've been coming to this restaurant for awhile, definitely one of my favorite Italian restaurants. I've never had an dish or cocktail disappoint me, every one has been spot on! My husband is European and we have spent a lot of time there. I could tell that the owner was real Italian and put many touches that are typical to a European restaurant. I giggled in the bathroom, the tiny bathroom with a mini sink is very typical of European restaurants. The plates are also perfectly proportioned. The food was prepared fresh to order (which does take a little longer, but well worth it). The spice and composition of each plate is unique and wonderful. Thank you so much! It's always a pleasure to dine here. For the negative reviews that want big bathrooms, endless bread bowls and family size platers of food. Please go to the olive garden or macaroni grill. This is more an authentic European style and not a chain restaurant.

This restaurant is by the lobby of the Omni hotel. Good bar food, relaxed atmosphere, pool tables. Live music at night. Very good overall.

The food was pretty good, had the swordfish. The service was decent, never thought I would have to ask to get bread at an Italian themed restaurant. The chairs are just uncomfortable enough to make you skip appetizers and dessert so you can eat and get out to go somewhere else. Still not sure what to make or the cajun style paper on the tables. Either they are too cheap for cloth or to lazy to clean a table? Either way, the prices on the menu don't match the decor or what you might expect for a downtown restaurant.

Really nice atmosphere for dinner but as the evening progresses it gets very loud. The food is tasty and priced fairly for the portions. The calzone is very large, and the staff is very willing to make adjustments to menu items to suit your taste. Spaghetti and meat sauce is surprisingly delicious!
