This was a very lively bar. It had that old saloon feel to it, which was very cool.
I ordered a whiskey well drink and it was nice and strong.
The atmosphere was great. It was very spacious and it had somewhat dark lighting. There was also a pool table, which was pretty neat as well.
Being that it was on a Sunday in which I visited, there wasn't live music. From the reviews that I read, live music is played here on some nights (I assume Fridays and Saturdays).
The decor and the rodeo theme make this place well worth the visit.
Overall, I would definitely return to have a couple of drinks and to enjoy the cool atmosphere.
A very original place, I just had to go in because of Walker Texas Ranger.
It was filmed here.
The place is great, a huge collection of hats of special personalities are all over the restaurant.
There are pool tables, freshly tapped beer and always live music. Just like this time, not last time 3 years ago.
Plus a huge collection of white elephants.... Perhaps the largest in the world...
If you're there, it's worth stopping by...
If you like history and like the old west and a little Chuck Norris history this is the bar the food is great the staff is amazing the Fort Worth stock yards is always packed during the summer and they have a burger with a quail egg on it
Cute place! Friendly bartender, and super cool stuff to look at while we enjoyed our cocktails. 😍
Old timey western saloon on your bucket list? Well then head on down to the Fort Worth Stockyards, belly up to the bar at the old White Elephant for some ice cold beer and tasty whiskey! Atmosphere is laid back and very western! A must see while in the Stockyards
This has to be one of my favorite places in Fort Worth. It's amazing on a busy night or just as wonderful on a slow night. We were there on a slow Sunday night and listen to the best cover bad!
Longtime honky tonk bar right in the heart of Echange Street in the Stockyards, right across the street from the Stockyards Hotel.
Our last stop and a few beers before leaving Texas. Even though it's not the original spot (Saloon was moved here some 70 years ago), it feels great and has a lot of spirit. Noted a picture of Quanah Parker on one of the walls. And do not forget to try the Shuffleboard game!
Fun atmospheric tavern in Fort Worth. Well decorated with the rodeo hats of many many cowboys, wood tables carved with years of names and hearts and places in a patchwork. And don't forgot the wall of white elephants, the namesake. Super fun place to stop in for drinks and often live music and dancing.
This place is incredible and and someplace anyone should visit. The live music was amazing, dancing was fun, the staff are sooooo friendly and cool. What a great atmosphere. Also, one seriously incredible historical site with a colourful history. Have a great time.
This is an interesting combination of a locals bar and a well-known Fort Worth attraction. It's worth the cover at the weekend. Great atmosphere. It's a bar with some food, a good selection of beer, but it's really about the music, the people, and the experience of a great Texas tradition. If you want an authentic Texas experience come by, if you want white glove big city "service" and gourmet food this isn't your place. We loved it. A very pleasant surprise.
SO MUCH FUN!!! We were introduced to this saloon by new friends. And it was such a good experience. Especially for people who are visiting the stockyards and want the Western experience period everyone was very friendly and the ambience was just so fun with all the white elephant figurines and the cowboy hats. The music was great and there was a small dance floor for 2 stepping but of course I don't know how to do that so I just filmed and watched and had a good time. They had a very good variety of beverages from well to top shelf, and a drinks were reasonably priced. The bartenders were very fun and attentive, and had a heavy pour. I didnt eay anything there so no opinion on that. I didn't feel out of place at all here. I will definitely come back once it cools down as the stockyards is a great place to bar crawl in western duds. 🤠
Interesting, nice little bar. I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and had a couple of beers while checking out the Stock Yard.
They had a couple of guys on stage but difficult to hear due to volume being low. Whitney, the bartender, had a great personality and was super nice. They seemed to be a few locals, and they all knew each other, but these are types of places I like
We loved the space and experience. Bar tenders were more worried about guys alone and tips than serving us, but we worked past it. Not a good bedside manner for a couple from staff, but we met friends and had fun anyway. Our bill was wrong which is not suprising since girls at bar were focused on men alone, but they fixed it without issue. Cool venue and atmosphere!
This place was a riot! The hats on the walls and ceilings made this place a unique saloon worth visiting. There was a small dancefloor that was used once in the hour that we were there. Although the hats were impressive, my favorite part was the guy performing live music. He was awesome! At one point he pulled a suggestion from the crowd and absolutely nailed it. The guy was a great entertainer who had everyone singing along and cheering. Enjoyed every minute we were here.
Cool saloon with live music. Very friendly staff! Didn’t try the food…
This is the best bar near the stockyards in my opinion! There's always live music and good vibes!
