Fantastic place for a birthday celebration. 🎂 Staff was awesome, friendly and knowledgeable. Managers came by to ensure we were pleased and knew what we were eating and drinking. They also knew our names. Kinda like The Bear. Grace makes their guests feel special. The Toad salad is different and worth it. NY Strip was on point. Scallop was amazing. Oh, that bread. Free dessert for the celebrant. Olive oil cake is the bomb. Reservations are suggested. Recommend!
Incredible evening at Grace. The staff was incredible, the food was divine, and the experience was a delight. I'll be thinking about the Toad in the Hole salad for weeks, and the scallops are a not miss. Pro tip: order one scallop on the side of your entree. The menu is constructed to be conducive to sharing. Wonderful establishment!
bacon wrapped stuffed filet and the scallops with a half plate of capellini nero to share was perfect, then came the butterscotch pudding, that was excellent and the espresso martini for dessert was awesome! went to thompsons bookstore (speakeasy) afterwards and the valet had my car back in under a minute when we returned
Very attentive wait staff. Great location in Fort Worth. Steaks were cooked to perfection. They even gave us a free desert for our anniversary that was phenomenal
Grace boasts the best fine Dining experience in Fort Worth. This has been the go to establishment for our Anniversary for the last 4 years and I have had the pleasure of dining here on several other occasions. Delicious food, the Manhattan was excellent and they have an extensive wine menu. The charcuterie board is outstanding, as are the steaks and the Colorado rack of Lamb. My wife and I were sad to see that the lamb dumplings were removed from the menu on our most recent trip. However, they continue to refresh the menu options and the additions to the charcuterie board were exquisite. We look forward to returning again and again!
The best thing we had was definitely the chicken karaage and of course the steak. We did have to wait over an hour from ordering our entrees to them arriving so don’t come here if you aren’t mentally prepared to spend a good deal of time here. Was it worth the wait? Yeah I think so! Valet is only $7 so not bad for downtown.
We sat at the bar/lounge and had a great experience. Server was amazing. The drinks were perfect and food came out great.
Went for my birthday dinner with my family. Amazing service from the valet team outside, to the hostess, wait staff and manager. The toad in the hole is a mouth watering salad. Great ambiance for a date or any special occasion. They go above and beyond to make you feel special and taken care of. Will definitely come back again for another fine dining experience in Fort Worth!
*Update*
Still a great martini, though I think the food quality has dropped a little. The shoe string fries were great, though now they use steak fries that taste like something you'd get out of a bag. You used to get 6 dates, now you get 3. They are bigger now, though I'd prefer the 6 smaller dates.
Old Review:
My go-to for what is in my opinion the most consistently good martini in downtown. I get the absolutely filthy vodka martini, and I think the 1888 olive juice is what makes it. My wife and I normally just sit in the bar area which is great, and I'd recommend the chorizo stuffed dates and the ribs. I don't have a picture of the ribs, but the burger is a good option as well. It's huge so we normally split it.
The dishes are expertly crafted, showcasing a perfect fusion of flavors and innovative culinary techniques. If you're looking for a truly unforgettable dining experience in Fort Worth, GRACE is a place to be.
I'm going to start off by saying I have no complaints at all about my experience at this restaurant and that doesn't happen often. The steak was cooked perfectly, came out warm, and it was delicious. The Capellini Nero tasted amazing and complimented the steak well. I ordered the half portion and got extra lobster added at the recommendation of the waitress. I got the toad in a hole salad and it was a very interesting and tasty salad. It reminded me of breakfast. The dessert was free because I was celebrating an anniversary. They do the same for birthdays. I got the Texas olive oil cake and it was so good and fresh. That's saying something because I rarely ever get dessert. They definitely put a lot of attention to detail into their food. The waitress, Mariah, was polite, had good recommendations, came at the right time, and was knowledgeable in the menu. A+ for the service and for the food. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants a nice simple fine dining experience.
Grace has my vote as one of the best restaurants in DFW. I have been wanting to experience it for a while on a recommendation of a friend who used to live in Fort Worth. My expectations have been met and surpassed in many ways. First of all - the cocktails. If you like gin you should have Walk in the sunshine from the house specialty cocktails. I and my husband were not in the mood for wine and asking for sommelier but he was busy and having great time selecting wines for other tables on the floor. How many places still do that? Charcuterie board and the toasted buttery bread were delightful. Best jersey (I guess that what it was) I have had. My husbands New York strip and my little filet along with the most extravagant sauces were the fireworks for the taste buds. Coconut cream pie 🥧 - three letters - yes! From ambience to excellent service this is a place that makes you think that time stands still. The only think that can be improved on would be the sonic presence. The speakers seemed not to be placed well and the pop rock playlist was clashing with the soft elegance of the interior. Cheers! Until next time!
I've been here many times for business presentations and was so impressed with the service. The staff knock it out of the park everytime and make sure we're taken care of without being intrusive. The food is great and they have started offering a wider variety menu for the conference rooms. I don't recommend their cookies for dessert though.
My absolute favorite restaurant! You’re treated like royalty here! I love their drinks, food, and service! Perfect date night place for a special occasion. We will definitely be back! :)
Filet Mignon tasted a bit dry, in comparison to the chicken and potatoes. The Sorbet dessert was simple and splendid, not much in discordance with the Butterscotch Pudding. The salads were great, as was the "didn't have to move a finger" service, which accommodated our party and, even, graced us with a bit of comedy. Would definitely return and recommend.
Excellent food. My wife had scallops. They were great. I had a rib eye. It was good. Oysters were excellent. Lamb belly dumplings were good. Never had them. Would order them again.
Had a "Toad in a Hole"- loved it.
Butterscotch pudding was good.
A friend and I walked downtown for an after work happy hour. She recommended Grace. I’m so glad we stopped in. The atmosphere is a younger professional crowed. I tried the Seven cocktail with the Bacon Wrapped Chorizo Stuffed Dates. Yummo! Such a fun appetizer. My cocktail was delish! I’ll return to try another appetizer. The Seven will be my go-to cocktail!
My husband and I choose to have a small gathering (party of 12) of immediate family after our wedding ceremony. I have to credit Grace for making my wedding reception dinner amazing. At every step of the way, everyone that interfaced with us were incredibly helpful. I have to give kudos to Erin, the event manager, for being so professional and prompt. She made our entire experience so easy and less stressful. I also want to give a shoutout to our server, Daniel, for being extremely attentive. We were given the option of an open menu or fixed menu. We choose the fixed menu and everyone was happy with their options, including the vegan in the family. The food was beyond amazing, and I am excited to come back for our 1 year anniversary.
We stopped in tonight to share some holiday cheer with our Realtor.. (without a reservation), and since this place is a white tablecloth establishment, on a Thursday night, during the Holidays, at 7pm... reservations were obviously needed. Because we're smarter than we look, we switched gears to the bar, lounge area. You have two nice choices here, plenty of seating on both sides...so why not dress up, (grab that reservation), and sit at a white tablecloth with your partner...or do as we did, and waltz right in to the lounge. It's a nice place inside, classy, (lots of suits and women with large jewelry dining in here), nice high ceilings, cool bar and wine rack, so it's a legit place to hang out downtown. 1 block from the plaza. We sat right next to that cool bar...by the front sidewalk, our inner "wall" being full glass, so it was perfect "people watching", especially during the holidays, while we sipped on our spirits. I had a classic gin martini, dry, shaken, with an olive and a twist. It was very pretty...and oh so good. We decided to nibble on "picky, picky" food, rather than a full entree meal. Our 4 choices were all good, served hot, and at the same time. Our server, Emma, was attentive, professional, (she remembered my martini order perfectly), checked on us constantly, smiled often, even with a crowded and needy room, and even appeared to enjoy her work... which really added value to our time here. Looking forward to trying the entrees next time we're back here. The red snapper looks amazing.
