Cabin Fever Coneys

I dont like hotdogs, but I go to these places because my wife loves them. I was gonna try a bratwurst, never know if I will like the sauerkraut. I opted for the meatloaf sandwich, was meh. Fries were hot and crisp. My wife enjoyed her coneydog. I finished her coleslaw and I liked that as well. Note: I'd never goto a coneydog place for myself. They usually have a limited menu for someone like me. Goto keep the significant other happy. Rather then a meatloaf sandwich, I'd rather see a burger, I'd toss chili, bbq, or sauerkraut on it if I liked what they had for variety.

I am writing this review in the hopes that it will be taken as constructive criticism. This was our first visit and the staff was patient and polite. No problems there. But the hotdogs? We will not be back. We ordered two coney dogs, two fire dogs and a box of fries. It came to $14.07. The hot dogs were barely warm. They were skinny and small. They looked and tasted like they had been soaking in steaming water for a few hours and lost all their flavor. The coney sauce was not flavorful and the buns were soggy. The fries were a cheap crinkle cut style that did not fare well on the ten minute drive to our home. We are so disappointed. We were really looking forward to delicious hot dogs, but we did not find them here.
