The only middle eastern restaurant in Fort Wayne. And it’s pretty good. The restaurant is small, clean, cute and cozy. I like the art inside. So authentic. Tried chicken shawarma and falafels sandwiches here. They’re very good. The falafels have too much seasoning and they can be lighter. But the sandwich is executed well. Chicken was seasoned well. Garlic is so strong. It can be made as an aioli not only pure garlic. Overall would come back.

The food was delicious!! Our lower rating is due to the unprofessional service we received. We told our waitress we did not want pita since we can't eat gluten. This information didn't promt her to tell us of wheat products in other dishes we ordered. Our rice had vermicelli which the cook later said was traditional. However, we didn't know that. When we asked for the meal to be corrected he wouldn't talk to us directly without us going to the kitchen counter. After we explained the poor communication and our gluten intolerance, he cooked us some vegetables to go with our meal and sent out a plate of appetizers. The key issue here was miscommunication from the menu and waitress. She didn't clearly answer our questions about the food or tell the cook we had gluten intolerance. This could easily be solved with a better menu (pictures which reflect how dishes are actually served)/or better explanation from the waitress. Again, the food itself was great!

I had no idea what to expect when we walked into the restaurant, however, I wasn't disappointed. The food was delicious! We got a platter so we could try a bit of everything. The humus and garlic dip were amazing. Their meats were cooked just how we liked. There was enough rice on the plate for two more people. Our waitress was wonderful. Overall, we had an excellent experience.

We love Famous Falafel! It's a great place for a casual date or family dinner. We always feel welcomed by the staff, even when our two year old is a little cranky. They have TVs and coloring books for kids. The food is so delicious and the portions are large! The two person Family Platter could easily feed four. I highly recommend checking them out!

The food was excellent. Our server seemed new but I've been a server and didn't mind at all. I can't wait to go back and try more things on the menu. Perfect place to take your vegetarian friend and you will both be full and happy.

The food you wind up getting isn't terrible. The lentil soup left much to be desired, and the wait staff were slow and inattentive. We asked for a moment to look over the menu and didn't see another restaurant worker for 10 minutes. This was several weeks ago. My fiance ordered takeout based on their menu, including the appetizer sampler. The appetizer sampler was really just a gigantic takeout box of hummus, tons of pita bread, and a grape leaf dish filled with some kind of liquid. The liquid turned up in the bottom of the bag because it was packed in your standard takeout box as well, despite the overwhelming amount of non-solid material. Thankfully the falafel wasn't terrible

This place has a nice atmosphere to it. So I went here to try something new I ordered the hummus and the pita bread was obviously microwaved with a hint of a chewy texture like bubble gum, by the end of the day the food was alright but nothing really sparked my taste buds. While I was leaving to pay my bill I got a glance in the kitchen and saw one of the workers open the fridge and I tell you it was so full and disorganized and it looked disgusting it could be a case of cross contamination it just made my stomach turn and never be back here again
