We were seated much quicker than originally thought, I'd have liked to enjoy the drink I just ordered to admire more of the inside. Anyway, we got seated outside, drinks were brought pretty quick and were awesome! Ordered calamari appetizer (DELICIOUS!) Waiter suggested the special, stuffed trigger fish. OMG!!!! It was so MOUTH WATERING and huge, we could only eat half each of three of the same. We will definitely go back!

I've been eating here for many, many years, and the food is as good today as ever. If you love fresh seafood, then the High Tide is the place for you. I tried the New York Strip this last time, and it was also delicious. Go, you won't be sorry.

We visited with a group of 8 just last night. We had no reservation and was told we were going to have a 30 minute wait to sit inside and immediate availability to sit outside, which would have been fine, but just 5 minutes in we got seated. The wait staff immediately brought refreshments and informed us of the daily specials. The food was very good: we had the fried chicken meal, crab legs, gumbo, fish of the day stuffed (trigger fish), and steamed oysters; oysters tend to take a while, which they did for us, but the time passed quickly enough. The service was also phenomenal. The kitchen also helped answer a few questions and appealed to our dietary restrictions. The interior is like a rustic sailor's shanty with eclectic maritime decor and memorabilia that makes for great conversation. Location is relatively good since it's close to so many vacation rentals, although very tricky, as our GPS (Google) took us from our seaside stay to across the bridge when we didn't need to. Now that we know how to get there, it will be super easy next time.

Cute little restaurant with good food. My friend and I shared the kebabs and crab/shrimp plate and it was plenty of food for two hungry people. The staff was really friendly and food got to us quickly. I really liked the coleslaw but the hush puppies had green pepper which I'm not a fan of. It did feel a bit crowded with the distance between tables, but the food was great.

Finally decided to try this place last year and really fell for the place. Definitely like stepping back in time, in a great way. Love the vibes in here and the food is pretty good. Service was awesome and the drinks are poured with love! 😉

FANTASTIC!!! I was in the mood for fried seafood and Holy Wow they delivered. Possibly the best I've ever had. Definitely the best in a long time. First time eating softshell crab. It was Delicious. I got Fried seafood platter #2. All Great. Wife got grilled triggerfish. Also Delicious. Even kiddos chicken fingers were great. Service was spectacular. Walked right in. Waitress was great. Food came out extremely fast. One of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. Highly Recommend. If I'm ever back in town I'll definitely dine here again.

Great food at a great price. Plates were plentiful and waitress was on top of things. As all the other reviews said, the triggerfish is a delight either fried or grilled and 5 in our group ordered it and all loved it. Not much on menu beside seafood just fyi. They did have a kid menu with the usual options though. Not a great view or atmosphere but we had a party of 9 and NO wait. That is rare in July anywhere around here, so kinda a hidden gem.

Had a great experience here. Had calamari and fried cheese sticks for appetizers and had the stuffed trigger fish, baked potato, hush puppies and salad for main course it was absolutely delicious. Wife had the popcorn shrimp which were huge and delicious. Anyone visiting Okaloosa island, Fort Walton Beach or Destin should give High Tide restaurant and their trigger fish a try.

Amazing food and GREAT service, I didn't catch our servers name but she was on top of everything with a genuine vibe and super friendly. The stuffed triggerfish was the special and it was delicious! We will be back here for sure.

Best oysters in USA! Great service at the bar! I always come here and eat good!!! Blooming onion is fire, I can’t decide if I like the onion or the dipping ranch better! Grouper is fresh and even the soda is bubbly!
