Yellow Umbrella - Fort Smith - Photo album

A local favorite. Fries are a delicious shoe string variety with seasoning salt. The burgers are phenomenal and the staff are also very friendly. You won't be disappointed if you visit. Be sure to check their hours before visiting because they are not open all the time like a fast food chain.
A home town favorite, The Yellow Umbrella is always fresh made. Today I found out they make milkshakes in about 6 flavors and butterscotch is one of them, I will do further research and update post with the milkshake taste test results. Meanwhile my Jr bacon burger and crinkle cut fries with season
Don't go here, go to dairy freeze by the fairgrounds. Everything is tiny. Over priced. 20 bucks for 2 tiny single hamburgers the size of a little cheeseburger at McDonald's, a tiny chillie cheese pie and 16 ounce drink. Dairy freeze burgers taste about the same but are 2 to 3 times bigger.

They took my order down correctly and were friendly and provided great service. And the cheeseburger was made just as ordered and was delicious!
A hamburger stand right out of the 1950s. The environment/setting was a trip through a time capsule to something I'd only seen in textbooks. The food was super delicious and didn't take a ridiculously long time but you will have to wait. It isn't instant fast food. Worth the wait though.
