Paizi's Gyros

New Location, New Atmosphere, New Menu, Same Great Flavor. Time and time again, this place proves why it deserves it's place in Fort Smith. I was hooked when I got them from their food truck years ago. Loved when they got their first location across the mall. I'm now extremely pleased for this new, bigger, and nicer location Everything I've ever ordered here has been amazing. The staff is great, the food is always delicious, and it's always wonderful to watch them prepare the food. Keep it up, you all are awesome!!

I had heard it was over priced, but it wasn’t at all! It’s fast food prices for amazing food. We went in to get take out (bc game one was on) and we both got the original both were made exactly how we asked. The place was clean and really nice inside. The staff was very friendly- and fully staffed. The Lamb/beef meat was perfectly done and was not dry or rubbery. It was tender and seasoned just right. The cucumber sauce was light and done exactly like I had in Europe. We also order the meze trio and the pita 🫓 is addicting on it’s own, but the spicy cucumber sauce could be bottled and sold - I’d buy it all! We asked for a take out menu and you can tell they put value in their product bc the menu was even nice.

Traveling for work and got a gyro plate here - it was great! Tons of good food for the price. The meat was just a little dry, but it was fine. The hummus was yummy, and the greek salad was great. The kids working there were really nice, too. Great service. Definitely would stop back by here when I’m traveling for work again!

My new Greek food place. Chipotle atmosphere or vice versus, you can see the ingredients are freshly made and can also be a drive through. We had a beef gyro pia and the original pita and fries with deserts mm mm thank you outback for being closed until later it would have been a shame to miss that good food.

1-29-2022 - My wife and I had wanted to try out the Gyros and decided that this would be a good day for that. We entered the business, which is located across the street from Harps Food, and began looking over the menu posted above and behind the counter. I had tried lamb at another location and was not fond of the taste, so I ordered the spicy chicken gyro, and the wife ordered the regular chicken gyro. A young lady that may have been the owner, asked me if this was our first time in the grill and we replied that it was. She then asked if we had eaten the lamb before and I explained that I had at another location and did not care for it. She then asked if we would care for a sample of her lamb stating that we had never eaten lamb prepared the way they prepared theirs. We took the samples and we both immediately revised our orders to the Original Lamb Gyros. My wife asked how big a portion was served as an order of french fries and she was told that the portions were generous, so my wife ordered a single portion, which we split between us. I have had different types of gyros before, but these were the best I have eaten by far. The amount of meat, vegetables and feta cheese in the pita was very generous and the pita bread was very fresh tasting. The fries were just about perfect for my taste, crisp but tender outside with the potato inside almost creamy. My wife's aunt, who owned and operated a pool hall with a lunch counter was the first and only person who has ever prepared 'The Perfect' French Fry for me, time after time (over 40 years ago) but these were a close second. We observed salads being served, as we ate our Gyros and they too appeared to be very generous with their serving portions. I did observe Baclava and cheesecake offerings but determined to wait for another visit to try those. IF you like Mediterranean gyros and salads, you will like this establishment. The ladies that took our order and prepared our meal were very friendly and even after serving your food they would periodically check to see if we were doing well with our meal and if we needed anything else.

This was my first time to eat here. Everything was so good. I am already planning my next order. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The chicken was really good. I have gotten so used to mediocre service and food quality that I haven't been excited about eating out. Paizi's has made me excited again. I want to try it all. Thanks!
