Steak 'n Shake

I recently ate there for lunch. I had not been to this location in awhile. When I walked in I was greeted and I noticed something. If you dine in you have to order at a kiosk. This actually was easy. The kiosk was easy to navigate and they called your name when it was ready. You also payed at the kiosk for your order. You went to an area on the counter to pick up your order when it was done. The food was good and everything on the burgers was correct according to how I placed my order on the kiosk. I had to get my napkin's,cups,etc, and ketchup for my fries myself. But that was fine. I just wonder if this was something they adopted because of COVID or are they trying to save on staff. Mind you this setup was good it was just unexpected. Hate to say it but in a way I kinda preferred this way. Lately in most places staff are not trained properly in customer service. A lot of the younger employees don't even know how to talk to an actual person let alone say THANK YOU . But I have noticed that a lot of the fast food restaurants have adopted this type of set-up. I see now that it is quicker but human interaction is missing. I guess eventually fast food restaurants will be run by robot's. At least I can go to the Chili's down the street and be waited on by real people.

I recently visited Steak 'n Shake and had an amazing experience! The restaurant was clean, cozy and had a welcoming ambiance. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout my entire visit, ensuring that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. But the real star of the show was the food. The burgers were cooked to perfection, juicy and packed with flavor. The fries were crispy and delicious, and the milkshakes were the perfect sweet treat to end my meal. I was impressed by the quality of the food and the attention to detail that was put into every dish. I would highly recommend Steak 'n Shake to anyone looking for a tasty and satisfying meal. Overall, my visit was fantastic and I can't wait to come back again soon!

The employees are on point here even though they seemed to be short staffed. Started out all the kiosks to place order were offline. I guess short on paper. The lady, I presume Mgr but not sure on the grill came to help all 3 kiosks offline. It's stressful when shorthanded I know. I have no problem waiting for fresh hot food over waiting for cold food or wrong order that's supposed to be hot and I'm sitting there. I just hope they get more great staff soon.

I come here nearly everyday. The food is amazing and it is always prepared fast. I visited this restaurant for YEARS, and the quality has only gotten better. Amazing employees helped me with my order and made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. Sure, it’s different from how it started off as, but it only made itself even better. I wish I could single handedly thank each and every employee who has crafted my delicious meals. Thank you, Steak n’ Shake.
